YSRCP Slams Venkaiah

Hyderabad, Aug 8: Taking strong objection to union minister M Venkaiah Naidu's remarks that special status is not a wonder drug, YSR Congress has said that the tune was handed over to him by Chandrababu Naidu after he faced stiff resistance from the people. Venkaiah Naidu telling at Vijayawada that special status is not a wonder drug and many states are aspiring for the same and hence some other solution would be worked out is nothing short of deception and treachery party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Monday.
The tune was earlier played by Chandrababu Naidu and he became silent after the awareness YS Jagan had created among the masses and the overwhelming response the demand for special status has got. Now the union minister, who was the first to raise the issue in Rajya Sabha while in opposition and also included in the party manifesto telling that it is not  wonder drug is absurd and his talk of some other solution does not work as there is no substitute for special status, Rambabu said.
Chandrababu Naidu has given the contract for capital formation to foreign companies and is fulfilling all their terms and conditions, which include the removal of statues, temples and other places of workshop which come in the way. As part of this agreement temples and other places of workshops were demolished and statues of YSR and Mahathma Gandhi were removed. Gandhiji who has  given the call of Quit India has been insulted by the TDP Government and the day is not far away for the people to give a Quit AP call for the TDP, he said.
