Defectors should seek fresh mandate

Hyderabad, Feb 28: Condemning the unethical moves of Chadrababu Naidu of buying MLAs with his ill-gotten wealth, YSR Congress has said the TDP leader should hold by-elections to take in the defectors.
‘ Yerragondapalem MLA David Raju was lured by the TDP in to Party offering huge considerations even as Chandrababu Naidu boasts of value based politics,’ party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Sunday.
When his flock was switching over to TRS in Telangana, he raised a hue and cry and said those who are crossing over are like dead people and his stand in Andhra Pradesh has been different.
If Chandrababu Naidu cares for values, he should ask the defectors to quit the assembly and seek fresh mandate, he said.

Sand policy should be transparent

Hyderabad, Feb 27: YSR Congress has demanded that guidelines should be framed for the sand policy to make it more transparent and benefit the poor and not the Party cadre.

‘TDP announcing that sand would be given free of cost to poor should be implemented in the true spirit and guidelines should be framed to clear the bottlenecks. It should not be turned into another money earning source for TDP cadre,’ party senior leader Botsa Satyanrayana told reporters here on Saturday.
We have been telling all these days that sand mafia has been minting money with Party cadre running the syndicate. The state has enormously increased the rate of sand from Rs 60 to Rs 500 per cubic metre but the hike was not reflected in the government accounts which shows the large scale corruption.
The Government deciding to supply sand at free of cost to the poor vindicates our stand that sand mafia has been looting public money.

We will press for by-polls

Hyderabad, Feb 27: Reiterating that luring MLAs was a mockery of democracy, YSR Congress has said disqualification of the defected legislators was imminent and people’s court will give the mandate as to who stands for morals and values, Chandrababu Naidu or YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
‘When we move the no-confidence against the Speaker and issue a whip, we shall see what will the defected legislators do and the impending by-elections will tell on whose side people are,’ party PAC member and spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Saturday.
ChandrababuNaidu is a habitual manipulator of mandate while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been a true fighter for justice and the comparison has been in the open since long.
‘We will mount pressure for resignation of the defected MLAs and go for the by-elections which will speak who has the people’s real mandate,’ he said.
While TDP has been raising a hue and cry in Telangana on defections, the scene has been reversed in Andhra Pradesh and Chandrababau Naidu has lost moral values after being involved in the cash for vote case in the neighbouring state.
‘He has compromised with TRS in Telangana after he tried to buy MLAs and his legislator was caught red-handed. Chandrababu Naidu has lost his face after engineering the defections and the by-elections are imminent in which we will prove as to who has the mandate of the people,’ he said.
Poaching on opposition turf is a mockery of democracy and this immoral and corrupt practice has been the policy of TDP but we will pursue the issue and fight till by-election is forced and the malpractice is exposed in people’s court, he said.
Despite the severe public outcry and serious criticism from various quarters, TDP is still playing its mind game and poaching and we will come out with facts and details very soon, he said and demanded that the defectors should quit on their own seek a fresh mandate to upkeep the democratic norms.
Chandrababu Naidu has been a manipulator all his life while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a born fighter and the Party itself was born in grave difficulties and survived many hurdles but our leader had never compromised and defied Congress and Sonia Gandhi.
He even went to jail but did not fall prey to baits and never compromised.
These qualities have kept him on a high pedestal while Chandrababau Naidu is remembered as a backstabber and manipulator, he said.

YSRCP ridicules Naidu

Hyderabad, Feb 26: Hitting out at Chandrababu Naidu for boasting that he is a man of character and values, YSR Congress has said his true colours were exhibited ever since he has usurped power from NTR and has been using ill-gotten wealth to buy legislators as his own party members have lost faith in him after the rout of TDP in Telangana.
‘Chandrababu Naidu saying that he has character and values is ridiculous as he backstabbed NTR and now has lured opposition MLAs by implicating them in false cases, besides offering money and cabinet berths,’ party leader RK Roja told reporters here on Friday.
It is YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who has character and has moral values as he has insisted on anyone joining his party to seek a fresh mandate before he took them in. He has the fighting spirit as he had overcome many hardships and went to jail which was the joint conspiracy of Sonia Gandhi and Chandrababu Naidu. He is the man of morals.
TDP leaders asking us to resign have no moral right to say that. In all fairness let all TDP members quit, we will also quit and let the assembly be dissolved and we seek a fresh mandate, she said.
Those who left the Party in the name of development should speak out as to what development did they as all sections of people were disappointed as Chandrababu Naidu had failed to fulfill the poll promises, she said.

Jagan’s public challenge to Babu

Babu has been using his unlawful earnings to decoy opposition party MLAs.
People are fed up with Babu’s habit of breaking promises.
Opposition party is being silenced to mask the inefficiency of the ruling party.
If Babu is brave enough, he has to make his new MLAs face re-election.
YSR district: AP’s leader of opposition and YSRCP leader Mr.YSJagan slammed CM Chandrababu Naidu for unethically luring YSRCP MLAs into his party by employing his illegally-earned wealth. With the notorious history of backstabbing NTR to grab his MLAs in order to attain power, now Babu has set out to buy opposition party MLAs offering them position and his illegally-earned money, criticized Mr.Jagan at Badvel, talking to media during his tour in YSR district.
The people’s leader openly challenged Babu to make his unethically-grabbed new MLAs resign to their assembly membership and go for re-election if he had at least a pinch of courage. He mentioned that it was the only way to prove who had people’s support. He questioned Babu if he had the courage to accept this challenge of his. He cited that a Government can stand strong not with bought MLAs but only with establishing trust in people’s hearts. He also confided that it is people’s affectionate support that is helping his development and success.
He stated that he and his mother were only there when YSRCP took shape. But then they resigned, went for elections and could earn strength of 18 MLAs and that the party now has grown to have 67 MLAs. He asserted that the switch of 4-5 MLAs to TDP is not going to harm the party and that better leaders would come out in the respective constituencies.
Jagan criticized Babu of being involved in corruption in scams like coal, sand, Genco tenders, Pattiseema and other projects. He slammed that Babu has used so earned funds to lure the MLAs of opposition party. Babu offered ministries, mining opportunities and about Rs. 20-30 crores rupees to each MLA, said Mr.Jagan. He also confidently stated that TDP MLAs are going to join his party in a year and he, unlike Babu, will make them resign to only win elections again with flying colours.
Jagan recollected Babu’s promises regarding loan cancellation of farmers and dwakra, return of gold under pawn, a job for every household among others. He criticized CM for breaking all the promises and thereby people’s expectations. He stated that people are highly displeased with Babu. He commented that Babu is trying to silence opposition party for trying to take his corruption and people’s discomfort to light.

Defectors should seek fresh mandate

Hyderabad/Vijayawada, Feb 23: Reiterating that Chandrababu Naidu should ask the legislators who crossed over to seek a fresh mandate, YSR Congress has said that TDP is maintaining double standards on the issue of defections as it was crying foul in Telangana and was luring opposition MLAs in Andhra Pradesh.

‘YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has the moral superiority to ask the MLAs who wanted to join YSRCP to first quit the other party and seek a fresh mandate while Chandrababu Naidu has no such scruples and has been speaking against defections in Telangana while encouraging the same practice here, ‘party leaders Botsa Satyanarayana, Kodali Nani, Peddireddy  Ramachandra Reddy, Jogi Ramesh, Perni Nani and others told reporters here on Wednesday at two separate press conferences.

TDP has been tagging development mantra for the defections, but it is totally wrong people are vexed with the state policies. ‘It is not development or the state interest but personal interests that have taken precedence and the cross-over leaders should seek a fresh mandate,’ they said.

‘We quit the Party and asked the Speaker to disqualify us to seek a fresh mandate. YSRCP has taken Sobhba only after she quit PRP and before that, YS Rajasekhar Reddy asked Danam Nagender to resign from TDP to join Congress. This took place in just three months.

‘Chandrababu Naidu is flushed with cash from the kickbacks of Pattiseema and real estate deals in capital region and his nature was exposed with his involvement in the cash for vote scam. He has the habit of luring legislators and manipulating the mandate as he had usurped power from NTR.

The leaders who crossed over should seek disqualification and the TDP should go for polls to know the pulse of the people. If the cross-over legislators are rejected in the people’s court, TDP should seek a fresh mandate as it will be a verdict on TDP policies,’ they said.

YSR Congress follows ethics and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YS Vijayamma quit after coming out of Congress and all the 18 MLAs who supported them had put in their papers and have even defied Party whip and came out victorious in the elections on YSRCP ticket.

In Telangana he had sold out the party. Revanth Reddy was the mediator in Telangana and here who is the person who mediated and for what consideration, they said adding that the Party will not be affected by the four defectors.

In the four constituencies, there are people who lost on TDP ticket and the going would not be easy after the defections.

TDP ploy of defection will backfire

New Delhi, Feb 23: In a vitriolic attack on Chandrababu Naidu, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that his moves of engineering defections from the opposition party would boomerang and the people’s mandate would be heavily loaded in favor of YSR Congress as the anti-incumbency has reached a high peak.
‘Chandrababu Naidu has been trying for the past six months luring all our party leaders to cross over and his efforts could take only four leaders to his side but in the coming days the scene would change for good as TDP with its faulty policies cannot win in the people’s court,’ he told reporters after meeting the President here on Tuesday.
Chandrababu Naidu may delay the disqualification and the imminent by-election but he cannot deny the democratic process which will teach him a lesson and eventual scenario would be totally different, he said and thanked other MLAs for not taking the bait.
Clarifying on the remarks of Chief Minister that TDP MLAs were in touch with him and the government would be toppled, Jagan said:’ what I told was that I do not have numbers on my side and when the numbers come, the government will fall. He is using this answer of mine to a question by media as an alibi for engineering the defections but the exercise will boomerang.’
The four persons who left have answer to the people as to what they would reply when they ask about the failure of Chandrababu Naidu in fulfilling he poll promises.
Striking an emotional chord, he said when Sobha Nagi Reddy died in the accident my entire family shared the grief and we treated the Bhuma members as our own family’.
‘In two years time, Chandrababu Naidu could lure two MPs and four members of the legislature. In the third year things would be different as leaders and people will be distancing themselves from TDP,’ he said.
When leaders wanted to join YSRCP, I have asked them to seek a fresh mandate and they came into the party fold unlike Chandrababu Naidu who came to power through backdoor and manipulations usurping the mandate given to NTR, he said.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was in the capital to meet President, Prime Minister and the Home Minister to submit a memorandum on the special package, Tuni arson, corruption and other issues. While the President has given the appointment and took the representation, the Prime Minister and Home Minister were preoccupied with the ongoing agitation of Jats.
Hyderabad, Feb 23: Poaching into the Opposition turf by luring the leaders with money and implicating them in false cases is nothing short of political debauchery, YSR Congress has said and asked the leaders who crossed over to seek fresh mandate.

‘After the debacle in Telangana, Chandrababu Naidu has been resorting to unfair and undemocratic practices by luring the opposition leaders by foisting false cases and offering huge packages. Only the meek and weak would surrender for such tactics but it shows the weakness of the ruling party and our resolve has been further strengthened to be with our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Party leaders including Deputy floor leader Jyothula Nehru told reporters here on Tuesday.

Engineering defections has been the motive of Chandrababu Naidu government and his comments that he had done it only in reply to the remarks of the Leader of Opposition has no credence. It was the same Chandrababu Naidu who had raised a hue and cry when his flock was switching over to TRS and he has been on the same path in Andhra Pradesh.

‘We demand the four leaders who crossed over to quit the Assembly and seek a fresh mandate as they were elected opposing the same TDP into which you have crossed over. It will be known in the people’s court as to who is popular, the corrupt and inefficient TDP or the party with moral values and credibility, the leaders said.

The four leaders who went to the other Party were either lured by huge financial gains or they were implicated in false cases and were forced to switch over.

This only shows the weakness of the ruling party as it is losing ground with all sections opposing its governance and policies and were looking towards YSR Congress, they said.

‘Encouraging defections would prove very costly to the ruling party in the long run and this is bound to boomerang as there is dissent brewing the TDP itself,’ they said.

‘We will explore all options against the defections and also demand the MLAs to seek a fresh mandate as they were elected on a plank opposing TDP,’ they said.

Besides the Deputy floor leader, MLAs K Srinivasulu, Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and Alla Ramakrishna Reddy also addressed the press conference.

Naidu speaking ill of R’seema

Hyderabad, Feb 22: YSR Congress said that Chandrababu Naidu is whipping regional passions and has been speaking ill of a particular region which does not go well with the high office he holds.
‘Chandrababu Naidu telling that the industries will go to Rayalaseema if the rentals are increased in the central coastal area is highly objectionable,’ party MLA G Srikanth Reddy told reporters here on Monday.
Speaking ill of a particular region is highly objectionable and it is hurts the sentiments of the people of that region.
On one side he keeps on playing the old tune that ‘we have lost out during the partition of the state and our coffers are empty but he continues to have a lifestyle with extravaganza ending up as a spendthrift. When people of capital region increase the rents, he chides them that they are greedy and all the time he stakes tall claims.
He keeps telling that the water table has increased very much due to the policies of TDP but the fact is that the cyclonic storm that triggered heavy rains had increased the water table.
Blaming the opposition party for the Tuni arson shows his ill-tuned vision and it is only to cover-up the failure to control the situation. Not just blaming but he has also been talking in a way insulting the people of the region.

‘It is our bounden duty to question you and highlight your failures and we will continue to do so though Chandrababau Naidu assumes that he should not be questioned. He has also been questioning the media that is not in his favour and we demand that all files relating the packages of irrigation should be tabled in the Assembly.

Bhuma nagireddy will continue in YSRCP

Hyderabad: MP and Political Secretary of YSRCP YV Subba reddy stated that YSRCP MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy will continue in YSRCP as usual. He conducted Press conference at the residence of Bhuma Nagireddy along with another Political Secretary of YSRCP Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and General Secretary Vijaya Sai Reddy. They stated that there is no question of migration of Bhuma Nagi Reddy. They argued that it is purely a mind game of Chandrababu and his yellow media.

Same affection and passion

Hyderabad: YS Jagan has created a trend in every tour at every step. His attitude is appreciable as he mingles as one among the people, fights for the people and moves ahead with people and stands for the sake of people projecting a great philosophy in his fighting style. It is revealed in his regular touring. Within a week, he toured in the four different directions and the same acceptance and style is exhibited everywhere.
Early this week, YS Jagan went on a tour to Srikakulam district, where he unveiled the statue of the great leader, YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Starting in the morning at Visakha airport, YS Jagan reached the place to unveil the statue, by afternoon. Along the way, YS Jagan stopped four to five times in the village intersections. Becoming aware of the arrival of YS Jagan, local leaders were anxious to meet him. YS Jagan met the YSRCP leaders of those villages and asked about their whereabouts. His fans accosted him and Jagan spoke to them cordially and moved ahead. By evening, YS Jagan reached home of MLA Venkata Ramana, Kalamata  and spent time with the family for a while.
Then YS Jagan continued the tour to Kurnool. YS Jagan shared his condolences with the family members of Mushtaq Ahmed. Though he started in the early hours in Hyderabad, by the time he reached Parnapalli it was afternoon. He offered prayers based on the tradition and then moved towards Smriti van near Nalla kaluva. He asked the key problems faced by the employees working there. The workers shredded tears of happiness, at the sight of the peoples leader, and affection he bestowed by asking about their problems while no one bothers to talk to them.
YS Jagan left to Visakhapatnam on Thursday. He went to the local co-ordinator, Vamsi Krishna's house. YS Jagan asked all the leaders, middle-level activists and others to come there and spoke to them about their well-being and concerns. YS Jagan spent lot of time there. Later he went to Sri Sarada Peetham and offered prayers in the temple. He then went to the house of Pendurti co-ordinator. The family members expressed their pleasure when the Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan has visited their house.
This way YS Jagan is  rendering his support and valuable time to the fans, workers, volunteers and leaders. People remember the great leader YS RajaShekhar Reddy, by looking the way, YS Jagan is co-ordinating and moving in the tours correlates the way, YS Raja Shekhar Reddy's  shared his concern for people and party members.

YS Jagan dares Naidu to seek fresh mandate

Hyderabad, Feb 17: YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has dared the TDP to seek a fresh mandate in wake of the anti-people policies and reiterated that the Party will go ahead with the no-confidence motion against the Speaker for the way in which he was conducting the assembly proceedings.
Speaking to reporters after submitting memoranda to the Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday, the Leader of Opposition said: ‘it is for Chandrababu Naidu to keep his flock together which he failed miserably in Telangana and to cover up this shortcoming he has been using his friendly media spreading rumours that our party leaders are willing to join TDP.
When our Party leaders hit back at him there would be a lull for some days and the charade pops up again. Instead, I dare Chandrababu Naidu to go for fresh elections which will show the relative strengths, he said adding that no wise person will join TDP as it is a sinking boat.
He reiterated that the Party will move the no-confidence motion against the Speaker.
The other issue is about the arson at Tuni during the Kapu Garjana. Chandrababu Naidu has miserably failed on the law and order front and did not take adequate measures where over one lakh people have congregated and the mass hysteria has led to arson.
Instead of accepting his failure, he has been shifting the blame on others and foisting false cases on political opponents and innocent people. This was categorically mentioned to the Governor.
The other issue was that of the failure of setting of Tribes Advisory Committee by the TDP Government as our Party has won six of the seven seats reserved for STs. Though it is a constitutional obligation, the government has been ignoring it, he said.
We will also take up the issues at the Central level, he said.

White paper sought on hike in projects cost

Hyderabad, Feb 17: YSR Congress has demanded a white paper on the steep hike in estimates for the irrigation packages which are aimed at benefitting the contractors who are close to the Chandrababu Naidu and his coterie.
‘The cabinet decision taken to increase the package no 29 from about Rs 12 crores to Rs 110 crores is nothing short of looting public money and we demand a white paper as to how the steeply hiked figure was arrived at,’ party Deputy floor leader Jyothula Nehru told reporters here on Wednesday.
There is already a provision for hike of rates for the EPC contracts but that should match the escalation of cost of material and manpower.
‘There is no tangible hike in cost of material and manpower and how was the package no 29, which is being executed by TDP leader CM Ramesh who is close to Chandrababu Naidu, was increased so steeply. It is only to benefit him and if the cabinet decision goes unchallenged all the 40 irrigation packages will be hiked which paves way to huge corruption and kickbacks,’ he said.
We are not against the development but we will not allow such large scale loot to take place through GOs and cabinet decisions and there has been nearly Rs 6,000 crore corruption in the ongoing irrigation projects, he said adding that the decision was not approved by two Chief Secretaries but still the State has been going ahead.
We demand a white paper detailing the abnormal hike in the package number 29 and will take up the issue to an agitation path if no convincing reply is forthcoming, he said.

TDP rigging tenders

Hyderabad, Feb 16: YSR Congress has demanded the TDP government to place on public domain the methodology involved in arriving at the price for developing land in the capital area and why only two of old guards have sent tenders for the work.
‘TDP has been treating the capital building exercise as a commercial enterprise for its coterie and diverting public money into the cartels of its favoured few,’ party senior leader Botsa Satyanaryana told reporters here on Tuesday.
The state has inflated the estimate for developing one square foot to Rs 3,350 which is on the higher side by 18 % as the earlier estimate was Rs 2,000 and the difference is going as kickbacks. How can only two companies, which were associated with TDP for a long time bid for the tenders which were inflated at public cost is question which the State has to answer, he said.
‘We demand that the details of the tender process and the break-up at arriving the to cost estimate for developing the area per square foot should be placed on public domain and show transparency in governance,’ he said.
The manipulation and fund utilsation of the TDP government has been understood by the Centre which has only released 10 % of the actual amount sought for flood relief. While Chandrababu Naidu had asked for Rs 2,000 crores only Rs 280 cores were released which shows the image of the Chief Minister and his government has in the eyes of the NDA coalition.
Other states were generously given funds which makes it clear that TDP has fell from the NDA grace, he added.

Hike ex-gratia package to Mushtaq:Jagan

Kurnool, Feb 16: Expressing concern over the apathy of TDP government towards the army jawan who died in the border, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has demanded to give a decent package to the family of the sepoy who hails from the minorities community.

After paying tributes to Jawan Mustaq Ahmed, he said ‘the cabinet has increased the exgratia from Rs 5 lakh to R 25 lakh only after I announced that I will be attending the funeral of the soldier who laid down his life in the Siachen Avalanche.
It is disheartening to note that the cabinet did not even pay homage to the soldier who hails from the minorities.

In the neighbouring Karnataka, besides ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakhs, the government has announced to give a house, a job to the kin and a farm to the jawan killed in the same accident. I demand that all those benefits should be extended to the family of Mustaq Ahmed as he hails from the minority community.’
The government should announce a better package as the jawan is a Muslim which instills confidence among the minorities, he said.

Ethics panel one-sided

Hyderabad, Feb 15: YSR Congress has expressed apprehensions that the Ethics Committee headed by Deputy Speaker M Budha Prasad would be a one-sided affair targeting the Opposition as their view point was not taken seriously.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting of the Committee here on Monday, Party MLA G Srikanth Reddy said: ‘the Committee is slated for a meeting on February 19 again before submitting its report.
The Committee failed to give appropriate answers to the issues raised by us and the attitude of the government seems to be loaded heavily in favour of the Government.’
During the meeting, the committee has targeted the Opposition Party and paid no heed to the issues we have raised. ‘It seems that the intention is very clear only to target the opposition. When we asked about lodging a complaint as to how the house proceedings were leaked in the social media, there was not reply from the government, which makes things too obvious,’ he said.
The Committee did not discuss the remarks of TDP leaders who were very harsh on the Opposition and this is an indicator of the things to come, he said adding that MLA RK Roja has moved the court with the apprehension that she would not get a fair deal by the Committee.

YS Jagan supports victims of high way at Vijayawada

Vijayawada, Feb 15: Castigating Chandrababu Naidu for his anti-people policies, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that his Party would undertake agitation programme against such decisions which include indiscriminate demolishing of houses in the name of development.
Addressing a large gathering here on Monday, the Leader of Opposition has said that the TDP government has been taking decisions which are affected the common man badly and benefitting his party leaders.
Changing the alignment of the flyover in the heart of the capital city is only to benefit a TDP leader’s hotel and in this process the State has demolished 120 houses and many more houses are likely to be razed down in the name of development.
The change in alignment is only to spare the hotel belonging to a TDP leader and the houses of common man are being demolished without providing an alternative housing facility or giving adequate compensation.
The people living in Sanathnagar and other areas are subjected to such highhandedness by grounding the houses without any compensation and a rehabilitation plan and we strongly condemn this act and our Party will be with the people and will undertake relay hunger strikes against such actions, he said.

People averse towards Chandrababu: YS Jagan

Pudibhimavram (Srikakulam dist), Feb 13:  Reiterating that YSR stood as a model Chief Minister in the entire country, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that Chandrababu Naidu has been showing how a Chief Minister should not be as every section of the people is fed up with his policies and governance.

Addressing a large gathering here after unveiling the statue of YSR, the Leader of Opposition said: ‘All walks of people have been disgusted with Chandrababu Naidu as he is not a man to keep up his promise unlike YSR.

The farmers are in disarray as Chandrababu Naidu has promised to waive all loans during elections and after coming to power the promise disappeared into thin air pushing the farmers into a debt trap. He assured them during electioneering that all the gold pawned in the banks would come back after TDP comes to power but it proved to be a mirage and farmers were distanced.

DWACRA women groups too had a bitter experience as they were deceived by him in the loan waiver and they became defaulters and they have to get loans paying high interest rates.

The same is the case with students and youth who were told that jobs will be provided to every house failing which unemployment stipend would be given and he went back on that promise as well antagonizing the youth.

He has lied on pension and housing and a multitude of people is willing to see his back as his governance has been neglecting them, he said.

YSR, on the other hand, was darling of the masses and worked for the people’s welfare, he said.

TDP, sinking boat, Jagan is the future

Hyderabad, Feb 12: Describing TDP as a sinking boat and there is no need for the opposition MLAs to join that Party, YSR Congress has said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the future while Chandrababu Naidu has become obsolete.

‘The way in which media hype is created that YSR Congress MLAs are joining TDP by the friendly media of Chandrababu Naidu shows the level of intolerance towards opposition and we will take legal action against those channels that have been giving one-sided stories,’ Party MLA RK Roja said here on Friday.

Why should any MLA be attracted towards TDP which is a sinking boat as we have seen in GHMC elections the party could get a solitary seat despite the tall claims of Chandrababu Naidu that it was he who has developed the city and placed it on the world map.

‘With such a success rate, why anyone should be attracted towards TDP and the false propaganda of perceived joining is only aimed at diverting the attention from his failures and to prevent from his flock going out. We have been with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy all along and even when he was in crisis and we feel proud to work under his leadership. Chandrababu Naidu cannot tell the names of two persons who were loyal to him in his 35 years of public life and his manipulative methodology has disgusted everyone.

We always believe in value based politics and our party MLAs are content and have the satisfaction of working for the people under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

‘Chandrababu Naidu plays one caste against the other and one creed against the other and shamelessly speaks with a derogatory accent on dalits. He has deceived famers, women self help groups, youth and students by going back on implementing poll promises. His tall talk of taking growth rate to double digit is a pointer towards his lack of perspective and depleting faith of people,’ she said.

TDP has been playing the dirty game of ignoring the elected representatives and allotting constituency funds to Janmabhoomi Committee members which is laden with TDP cadre and those who lot in the elections. Such tricks would not work and any amount of luring would not score over our party leaders, she said.

Regarding her suspension, she said that she would be writing a letter to the Speaker to revoke it and later would file a case with the Cyber Crime police as to how the clipping, which is obviously morphed as she was shown in clipping wearing different colour sarees, has come out and who had taken it in the assembly as no one can film the proceedings without the consent of the House.

The clippings are selectively given and not the entire proceedings which lead to many missing links, she said.

There is no person to compete the fraud of Chandrababu

Guntur: The Leader of Opposition, YSRCP President, YS Jagan stated that there is no cheater to compete Chandrababu Naidu. Whomever we ask the same opinion is conveyed, said Jagan. As a part of Guntur tour, YS Jagan attended few weddings. After that, he visited the Chirumamilla village, Nadendla Mandal. He unveiled the Statue of late MLA Dodda Bala Koti Reddy statue present amidst the late YSR statue and Late Kadu statue. Previously, when YS Jagan toured in this place, he remembered the services of Dodda Bala Koti Reddy and stated that, "If statue of Bala Koti Reddy is made, I would come there" is the oath given by Jagan. As promised by YS Jagan, the locals set up the statue and called him to unveil it.  With the warm invitation of the villagers and family members, YS Jagan, unveiled the statue and addressed the locals. Speech in his own words!
Wherever you go in the State, you can hear only one. If anyone is asked to say about Naidu's regime, they are saying it clearly. During a conversation between sisters, brothers, friends, in fact, from any ones mouth the same thing is revealed. Babu's regime is simply stated in three words ... fraud.. fraud and fraud. If farmers are asked about him, they say he could not keep his promise of farm loan waiver. DWCRA women say that we have not seen such a fraud in our lives and say that they forgot about the loan offering 25 paisa interest and now we have to pay Rs. 2 interest. We are also receiving notices from banks is stated  by the women. If an educated youth is questioned, they say that we all eagerly waited for Babu to become a CM, however, he deceived and mentioned that he is unaware of the support he promised, in the name of Unemployment support. This reveals that Babu is Number one Criminal. Whatever is stated by Naidu is complete lies. Every step is filled with fraud and conspiracy. Jagan said that, shortly, all evil deeds of Naidu should be pushed to Bay of Bengal, and stated that,  let us fight together against Naidu and make the protest an eye opening for Naidu.
YS Jagan addressed the public to motivate and activate youth. Local people, other leaders, and activists attended the meeting on a large scale. Apart from them were the senior leaders Uma Reddy Venkateswarlu, Marri Rajashekhar, Ramakrishna Reddy, Kona Raghupati and others attended the meeting.

Poor Rural folk face TDP Immorality

Hyderabad: It has been 20 months since the tenure of Chandra Babu’s Government began, but not one of the promises made has been kept. One of the main points of the ruling party’s election manifesto was to build new houses for people from backward communities. Leave alone the new houses, even the old ones have not seen any repair. The officials have simply chosen to state that they are awaiting the recommendations from Janmabhoomi committee.

NTR Renovation Scheme faces hurdles
The main intention behind devising NTR Renovation Scheme was to fund the repair of houses previously constructed by the Government for poor people in rural areas apart from funding the construction of new houses. The funding formalities which used to happen strictly before have now failed to happen, as this has been linked with Janmabhoomi committee.

Janmabhoomi Committee rules the scenario
District-wise allotment of funds has been the formality but it has become hard to take place as planned as the acts of the officials at district level are in the hands of Telugu Desam leaders with the mask of ‘Janmabhoomi Committee’. The funds are being allotted to those people referred by the TDP leaders in rural areas. So the people with genuine needs end up receiving nothing for their inability to bribe the TDP leaders.

High Court orders go in vain
The immorality of Janmabhoomi Committe in choosing the recipients of funds has been questioned by the High Court but this also has been disregarded, so is public criticism.

Chandrababu arrogant, anti-dalit: Vasireddy Padma

Hyderabad, Feb 10 : Reiterating that Chandrababu Naidu’s arrogance has come to the fore once again by not even repenting for his anti-dalit remarks, YSR Congress has said that he has been levelling baseless allegations against the Leader of Opposition for every failure of his government and has demanded a CBI probe in to the Tuni arson case.

‘It is shameful on part Chandrababu Naidu for passing such derogatory remarks against dalits and despite the strong protests, there is no shade of repentance on his part which shows the arrogance levels at which he is operating and his criminal mind-set has been exposed by blaming the opposition party and its leader for each of the state’s failures,’ party spokesperson Vasidredy Padma told reporters here on Wednesday.

While in Delhi he has addressed the media and levelled baseless allegations on our Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and blamed him for all the failures of the Government and even went ahead calling names and attributing motives.

Close on the heels of the Tuni arson case, Chandrababu Naidu started blaming our Party and our leader and was setting the tone for police investigation. A wise Chief Minister would wait for the inputs from the police and then speak out.

‘Here the situation is different. For everything that happens YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party is blamed even before the investigation starts. We demand a CBI inquiry into the Tuni arson case as highly placed people in the Ministry of Railways had asked our Party MP YV Subba Reddty, while he went to give representation ahead of the Budget, as to why the government could not call the fire tenders to put down the fire of all the compartments of the Ratnachal Express.

‘There was no police force, despite the government being aware of the fact that tempers were running high and no police or fire tenders came on time, but Chief Minister sitting a safe distance away tells media that it was the handiwork of YSR Congress.

This is the objectionable part. We demand that a CBI probe be ordered into the probe,’ she said.

Chief Minister going to the media or issuing statements even before the investigation or inquiry begins has been the pattern and such deeds would misfire. Even in the assault case on the women officer Vanjakshi, Chief Minister has told media that she was at fault giving the opinion of the government and how can any Commission conduct an impartial inquiry in face of such remarks from the Chief Minister, she said.

Even during the arson in fields of farmers who refused to part with their land, the Chief Minister had blamed us first and then ordered an inquiry. Such acts would boomerang and spell doom to the government, she said.

Naidu should quit for his dalit remarks

Hyderabad, Feb 9: YSR Congress has strongly condemned the caste remarks of Chandrababu Naidu which have belittled the dalits and demanded his resignation and said that he should be booked under SC ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act.

‘It is highly deplorable on part of Chadrababu Naidu for his casteist remarks which were demeaning the dalits and we demand his immediate resignation,’ party leaders, MLAs K. Srinivasulu, Y. Isaiah and K. Partha Saradhi told reporters here on Tuesday.

Holding the post of Chief Minister, if he speaks in such a manner stating that no one would wish to take birth as a dalit, it shows his arrogance and his mindset.

‘We strongly condemn his remarks and demand his resignation and the government should book him under the appropriate sections for hurting the sentiments of dalits,’ they said.

He has playing one caste against the other and his statement that no one will wish to take birth as a dalit and everyone would be willing to take birth into an elite family is highly objectionable, the said.

Chandrababu mark cheating

Hyderabad: They destroyed 7.3 acres of sugar cane crop for the land pooling proramme to build a new capital, Amaravati, and assured that compensation will be paid in a couple of days.

After two months of that incident and with no traces of those crops, the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), the designated authority of Andhra Pradesh government agency of land pooling, has sent a letter to the aggrieved farmers in Lingayapalem. The letter states that a competent authority will soon visit the destroyed fields and estimate the amount of compensation to be disbursed.

The letter has only compounded the misery of the farmers, Gundapu Rajesh and Gundapu Chandrasekhar. They claim that the compensation was promised to be paid within two days and secondly after two months only a letter is sent to study the quantum of compensation. "What estimation of the fields will be done when the crops have become dust and there is no trace of any crops now," they questioned.

The crops were destroyed using three bulldozers by the deputy collector Sitarama Murthy, despite protests by the Gundapu brothers that do not wish to part with their land and want to continue agriculture.

TDP belittling Kapu stir

Hyderabad, Feb 5: Taking strong objection to the way the Kapu agitation has been handled by the Chadrababu Naidu government by belittling the spirit of the just demands of the community that has been up in arms for including it in the BC quota, YSRC Congress has said that it extends full support to the fast of Mudragada Padmanabham.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said,’ we fully support the hunger strike taken up by Mudraga Padmanaham and his wife at Kirlampudi in East Godavari district and condemn the heavy deployment of police force to foil the indefinite fast of the Kapu leader.

The police have been harassing the Kapu community in Godavari districts with police taking their pictures and threatening them instead of working out a viable solution to include the Kapu community in the reservation list without affecting the BCs.

Chndrababu Naidu has been trying to bring in a split within the Kapu community on one hand and pitting BCs against the Kapus and every effort is being made to foil the indefinite fast,’ he said and appealed to the Kapu leaders of TDP to work for the uplift of the community.

In 2014 Mahanadu itself Chandrababu Naidu has reiterated that Kapus will be included in the Reservation list and 29 months after the promise there was no outcome which was the reason for the outburst of the community.

TDP Government trying to belittle and scuttle the issue which will bounce back as it is going against the will of the people.

The Chairman who had headed the BC Commission in Karnataka had said that the exercise of including one more caste into the BC list would take six months or even one month. In that case the Manjunath Commission need not take nine months to give is report.

‘We demand that the Commission term be reduced to three months, release the Rs 2,000 crore funds for the welfare of the community and take up cordial negotiations with Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham immediately,’ he said.
