On Wednesday, a woman called Shanthi came to YS Jagan. Her husband is a dailywager and his earnings are the only source of the family’s hand-to-mouth existence. The family lives in Tummalacheruvu Agraharam. Her two children – 10-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter are both speech and hearing impaired. They cannot speak or hear. Both have been admitted to a school for the deaf and dumb and are there for the last six years. The doctors, who examined them, suggested that a surgery could make them hear and speak. However, she being poor, cannot afford the cost of the surgery. Chandrababu Is Forming Mafia Gangs

Chittoor: Leader of Opposition and YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday lambasted Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over his failure to develop the state and keep his election promises.

Over 70 percent of the villages in the constituency are not getting irrigation or drinking water. This sorry state of affairs is an indication to the situation of villages throughout the state," he said.

Growing YS Jagan's Popularity Haunts Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is in Jittery as the popularity of YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is  growing  leaps and bounds  ever since the opposition leader embarked on Praja Sankalpa Yatra in November first week in AP.

Jealous over the immense support received by YS Jagan in his Padayatra from people, Chandrababu unfolded a big political drama. The TDP Chief launched Janmabhoomi programme from Pulivendula from where YSR Congress Chief elected as MLA.

In a bid to counter YS Jagan's promise made during his  Padayatra  that all health ailments  will be covered under Arogyasri, the chief minister announced bio-metric system will be introduced in all government hospitals and maintain proper records in every health care centre. But he failed to strengthen infrastructure in hospitals for the last four years. Chandrababu also did not take any measures to provide corporate medical treatment to poor under Arogyasri.  Instead he weakened the scheme.

YS Jagan has made promise that all the ailments for which medical bill crossed Rs 1000 will be brought under Arogyasri.  People's leader and former Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy was the brain behind free health scheme for the poor.

The telemedicine scheme announced by Chandrababu was also riddled with many loopholes. The possibility of misuse of the scheme by officials was plenty. It is wondering how poor will get prescription from the doctors without basis infrastructure like diagnosis facility in telemetry system.

The measures and reforms  taken up  by Chandrababu in Health department gave ample indication that the government conspired to shut health centers government sector in a phased manner like the government schools closed down.

YSRCP leaders stage dharna in Kadapa

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu had set a distasteful precedent by  interrupting the speech of YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy at a Janmabhoomi programme in Pulivendula on Wednesday.

Even as the MP was speaking at the programme, the chief minister and other TDP leaders gheraoed him. A couple of minutes later, the CM directed other leaders to take away the mike from Avinash Reddy.

Protesting against this, the YSRCP leaders staged a dharna in Kadapa. Several YSRCP senior leaders including MLAs Amjad Basha, Ravindranath Reddy and Mayor Suresh Babu.  Speaking on the occasion, they questioned the TDP discipline in according respected to Parliamentarian.

They also said that more than 85% of works related to Gandikota and Chitravathi projects were completed by late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

During his padayatra, the elderly, women, children, students and farmers greeted YS Jagan in every village he went.

Avinash Reddy's Speech in Pulivendula

The issues raised by MP Avinash Reddy during his speech irked the TDP leaders who were at their wit's end on how to respond to the questions. The MP said that though the Gandikota and Chitravathi projects were launched by Chandrababu Naidu, more than 85% of works related to those projects were completed by late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. "The late chief minister spent Rs 1,300 crore and completed 85% of the Gandikota and Chitravathi projects. We cannot forget his contribution," Avinash Reddy said.

Regretting the incident, YSRCP MLA Srikanth Reddy questioned the TDP discipline in according respected to Parliamentarian. He also questioned if it was a TDP programme or a Janmabhoomi programme.

Chandrababu feeling insecure: Botsa

Strongly condemning the action of Chandrababu Naidu for trying to gag the voice of the local MP who was putting facts in the right perspective, YSR Congress has said that such acts were unbecoming of the post he holds and the Opposition Party has also demanded that the inquiry report on the incidents of midnight secret rituals at Kanaka Durga temple be made public.

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana said, ‘the incident of Chief Minister trying to gag local YSRCP MP YS Avinash Reddy on Gandikota project stems out of the insecurity of the state government which has lost the faith of the people.

When our MP was putting the facts in the right perspective and separating chalk from cheese by mentioning the name of Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy who had contributed a lot for bringing Krishna waters to Pulivendula from Gandikota with facts and figures which was well received by the public at the Janmabhoomi meeting, the intolerant TDP had snatched the mike from the MPs hands at the behest of the Chief Minister.

‘Janmabhoomi is a government programme and not a party programme and protocol demands that the local MP and elected representatives be present on the dais and the mike was given to the local MP belatedly and was taken away when his speech was catching up the rapt attention drawing applause from the audience.

Normally on such occasions, the practice is that the local leaders, irrespective of the party affiliations, should be asked to speak first and the Chief Guest should be the last to address but in the function it was Chandrababu Naidu who took on the mike and boasted of many things which were not correct and when the local MP tried to correct the claims, the mike was snatched away by a local TDP worker.

This shows how insecure the Chief Minister and his Party are and how they make tall claims during public meetings. We take strong objection to the behaviour of the TDP cadre and he way in which Chandrababu Naidu has conducted himself on a public platform, he said.

The incident at Vijayawada Kanaka Durga temple has hit the sentiments of the devotees very hard and the allegation involving the family members of the Chief Minister for performing the secret rituals at midnightshould be cleared as it is a sensitive matter, he said.

The allegation was made by the Governing Council of the temple and the members were appointed by the Government itself. As the sensitive issue has come up, it should be cleared by the concerned officials and CMO after a thorough inquiry as Goddess Kanaka Durga along with Lord Venkateswara is the most revered deities in the state.

We demand action against those involved in the felony and make public the investigation report, he said.

Goddess Durga's curse will crush TDP government

The Telugu Desam Government will crumble under the weight of the anger of Goddess Durga for the sacrilege committed in the name of midnight Tantrik pooja.
YSRCP leaders Vellampalli Srinivas and Malladi Vishnu demanded a complehensive probe into the incident. They demanded that the Government release the cctv footage of the tantric pooja.

The YSRCP said that the whole drama was being directed from the chief Minister’s office and added that TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna was directly involved in the affair. The YSRCP leaders said that the whole drama was being enacted to make Lokesh Babu chief minister of the state.

They demanded that Chandrababu Naidu own up the moral responsibility for the whole drama and resign from the post of the chief minister. The YSRCP leaders called upon the priests to condemn the tantric poojas inside the temple. They reminded that the crown of Mother Goddess was stolen during the last term of the TDP.

Chandrababu Leaves Chittoor People 'shame-faced'

Chittoor: YSR Congress Party senior leader and MLA RK Roja said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu left his own Chittoor district people ' shame faced ' but making quirky statements. The CM did nothing for the development of his native district.  On the other hands,  the TDP Chief was insisting people to vote his party only.

She strongly condemned Chandrababu comments that people should be ashamed of themselves if they did not vote in support of his Telugu Desam. The YSR Congress leader held CM responsible for the closure of Vijay Dairy to promote his Haritage company.

Roja also came down heavily on Chandrababu for shutting all the sugar factories in Chittoor district.  The irrigation project Handri Neeva was also neglected. The CM deceived all sections including women and farmers by not waiving their loans taken from the banks.

Tantrik pooja performed in Durga temple to make Lokesh as CM

Vijayawada: Are the mysterious tantrik rituals and the presence of questionable people inside the sanctum sanctorum of the famed Kanakadurga temple well after the temple was closed on December 26 meant to make Lokesh the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh? Is Chandrababu Naidu behind these rituals?

These were the questions raised by YSRCP official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu. Addressing a press conference, he alleged that the Chief Minister was behind the whole mysterious ritual. He said now that the whole affair has come to light, there are efforts to blame it on a handful of officials. He also pointed out that while there were no special poojas in the temples on New Year in the state, vedic scholars had specially blessed the family of Chandrababu Naidu.

The secret pujas performed at the Kanakadurga temple at the Kanakadurga temple kicked off a controversy as a section of purohits termed it as Tantrik rituals were against the tenets of Aagamasastram, the tradition to be followed at Hindu temples. The secret pujas performed at midnight on December 26 came to light only on Monday after a picture of a Tamil Tantrik conducting a ritual at the temple went viral. While traditionalists say conducting Bhairava pujas amounts to desecration, the temple authorities denied performing any such ritual.
