Exactly 5000 objections!

The Chandrababu Government which is moving ahead to acquire land for Bandar Port is facing severe resistance. The 60 days’ time to submit any objections in this context was finished on 28th October 2015, the authorities announced that approximately 5000 objections were received.
The Chandrababu government has planned to grab the lands of the poor in the name of Bandar Port, they released a land acquisition notification on August 31st which was also the last date for the expiry of the ordinance. The government announced to submit objections if any. The government wanted to grab 24 villages in Bandar Mandal, 1 village in Pedana Mandal which is roughly 15000 acres of private lands and 15000 acres of assigned lands.
When Chandrababu was in opposition he expressed his solidarity to the Bandar Port action committee leaders who were opposing land grabbing and he also publicly announced that 2500 acres is enough for the port. But when he came to power his words completely changed, he is planning to grab 30000 acres land.
The government is now thinking what to do with huge number of objections. They are planning for alternative ways to restrict the farmers from going to the courts and somehow grab the lands.

Are the Godavari District leaders sleeping?

Are the Godavari District leaders sleeping or they are acting as if they are asleep? Why because they are not feeling the pinch of the situation. Chandrababu Naidu is cheating the Godavari Delta farmers with which the delta will dry up and the farmers will not receive any water for cultivation.
In the lower area of Dhawaleshwaram Barrage a total of 10,50,000 acres gets cultivated. In this under the east Godavari canal region 3,00,000 acres, under central division which is Konaseema region 2,00,000 acres, under west Godavari mini island region 2,50,000 acres, under west Godavari canal region 3,00,000 acres is being cultivated. In these farms three crops are harvested every year. But, now giving water to these farms is becoming difficult.
The Irrigation officers declared that water cannot be given to more than 6,00,000 acres. With this the farmers are very worried as there will be no second crop this year. The officers are giving lame excuse that because water was released to all the ghats during Godavari Pushkaras and water from Sileru is not coming this year water cannot be given for all the three crops.
The actual conspiracy lies with Chandrababu, who took morethan Rs.300 crores commission on Pattiseema Ettipotala Scheme. He is desperately trying to make it success. But after October the water levels in Godavari will drastically reduce and this water is sufficient for Rabi cultivation. Chandrababu is planning to divert this water by digging a big trench in the main channel. With this the water which should flow downwards will get diverted towards Pattiseema Ethipothala Scheme. Chandrababu wants to make his scheme successful so that he can make this a big publicity. Despite knowing all this the Godavari District TDP leaders are acting ignorance.

WHO WILL EXPOSE LAND SCAMS HERE

The Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his cabinet colleagues are doing real estate business in the guise of new capital construction, said YSR Congress Party spokesman Ambati Rambabu at Repalle. Speaking to reporters, Rambabu said his party is not opposed to the construction of the capital, but would resist only forcible land acquisition from farmers. When a new capital city can be constructed within 3,000 acres, the TDP government is pooling 33,000 acres in the name of capital, but in reality this exorbitant land acquisition is only to further TDP leaders' real estate business interests, he said adding that this is the biggest ever scam in the world. YSRCP will not rest until this scam is exposed, he said.

Pathetic Government..!

Guntur: The Leader of Opposition, YSRCP President, YS Jagan, said that very soon Naidu will be pushed to Bay of Bengal. Jagan spoke to the farmers of Uddandarayudani palem in Guntur district. Jagan fired on Naidu, stating that the assigned lands do not belong to Naidu's inherited property. Chandrababu has to suffer by the curses of the poor people whose lands are grabbed, and their lives are suffered.

Affected Farmers
Farmers stated that their lives are dependent of the assigned farms for almost three generations. Lands are grabbed by threatening them. Without evidence of their ancestral cemeteries, were also destroyed. Dalits were not invited for the program of laying foundation. Without any signed documents, respective lands are snatched. Insisted and tortured them to state that the farms have been burnt by YS Jagan. Took them to station and tortured for three days. Farmers expressed their grief before Jagan, that they cannot survive as the left lands are also snatched from them. As their borrowed agriculture loan is not wavered, farmers sold their buffaloes, gold and valuable things. Farmers expressed their unhappiness, that since the foundation stone is laid, they are threatening them by stopping the current supply.
YS Jagan ..
Though the prime convict in cases of burning farm lands is Yellow shirts party, but farmers are been framed. Stating and threatening that the leases time period is over, farmers are forced to give their lands and they even changed the records as per their convenience. YS Jagan questioned the government if it is according to law?  in relation to this situation. He mentioned to the government that they need to change by looking at the poor people who bind to their honesty and truth. Jagan also mentioned that instead of giving 100 or 200 acres additionally, the government is grabbing the left over land also. He questioned, who gave you authority to snatch the lands assigned according to the constitution. He commented that holding next to the government, Sujana Chaudhary, Murali Mohan, and others are gaining Rs. 9 thousand per square yard while the poor farmers are pushed out of their lands by paying pennies.
The government also encompass Cemetery gracelessly ..!
Helipads and all other arrangements are done in the farm lands of farmers, but they are not invited for the program of laying foundation store for the new capital. Jagan fired that the present government did not even spare the cemeteries for their land grabbing. Unable to pay the loans they mortgaged their loans. There is no way for the gold to come back. Out of grudge, the current facilities are stopped for farmers who are against the land pooling. YS Jagan said Naidu will be told by people strongly. He mentioned that in the future, YSRCP will come to power and very soon all the loans will be wavered.  Jagan mentioned that, new changes in laws will be made in order to stop the snatching of assigned lands of farmers.

Who is acting as a monster..

The Leader of Opposition and the YSRCP President YS Jagan stated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is acting like a Monster, insted of a normal human being. He visited Tulluru mandal in capital area this morning. He met the farmers, whose crops were burnt by miscreants for offering to land pooling.

Three days ago, unknown trouble makers burnt the sugarcane crop of farmer G Chandrasekhar. After meeting farmers, Jagan took strong objection to the “arm twisting tactics of chief minister Chandrababau Naidu to former the farmers giving up their land for the capital.”

” All the farmers who refused to give their lands to the land pooling are facing tough time. In the past 10 months 13 crop-burning incidents have taken place in the capital region. Police are refusing to book the cases when these farmers approached them. This is Jungle Raj,” he said adding that the Bihar people would be happy if they known that the real jungle raj existing in Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu given up all his human qualities and transformed in to a monster, Jagan criticized. Jagan categorically cautioned the government not to take the lands forcefully and take only those lands which were offered by the farmers. “Threatening the farmers who refuse to fall in line is not acceptable. Government ‘s agents are threatening the farmers of serious consequences. The burning of crops is done at the behest chief minister Naidu,” Jagan alleged.

Special Status alone is Public Demand

Vijayawada: The question, what did Chandrababu achieve by spending Rs.400 crores?, is the talk of the town. He did not achieve anything but lavishly spent the public money for his publicity.
The state has lost severely, thousands of industries were lost, lakhs of job opportunities were lost and to compensate this loss the promises made by the Prime Minister in the parliament had to be fulfilled. The people of the state are wishing this to happen and taking their wish as his responsibility to fulfill the opposition leader YS Jagan is fighting for Special Status. He protested in Delhi and spread awareness on the severity of the issue to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Central Ministers and other national level leaders. He expressed the people’s aspiration in Delhi. When he gave a call for State-wide Strike the people have joined him voluntarily and expressed their aspiration. When he started the indefinite hunger strike the people came to Guntur in huge numbers to express their solidarity.
When the aspiration of the people is so strong on Special Status, Chandrababu is repeatedly talking about Special Packages without mentioning about the Special Status. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not mention anything about the people aspired Special Status nor did he mention about Chandrababu desired Special Packages. With this the Rs.400 crore fete just evaporated.

STATEWIDE PROTESTS AGAINST GOVERNMENT

In protest against the Chief Minister's indifference towards the special status, the Opposition YSR Congress Party has called for an intensified fight for achieving its demand. The party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy called upon people of the state to join hands with him in the fight for special status. Jagan said the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had compromised on the special status demand to get out of the criminal charges he is facing in various issues such as cash-for-vote case in which his role was established beyond doubt.
"The Prime Minister not even mentioning the special status is nothing but an insult to five crore people of the state,"Jaganmohan Reddy said in a media release.

Jaganmohan Reddy said people of AP had big hopes on the PM that he would make an announcement at the Amaravati foundation laying ceremony. "But the prime minister conveniently ignored the special status, nor did Chandrababu Naidu remind him of the issue," he said and charged the CM of deliberately avoiding the issue only to save his skin. He said the PM only brought some soil from the parliament premises and water from the river Yamuna which flows alongside Delhi for the foundation of the new capital and spoke all sweet talk without any concrete assurance," the Opposition leader said. He lashed out at Chandrababu Naidu for avoiding the mention of special status.

Demanding special status for AP, the YSRCP has been conducting series of protests and Jaganmohan Reddy had recently gone on an indefinite fast in Guntur which was foiled by the government on seventh day as his health condition deteriorated seriously. In the wake of Prime Minister's indifference on special status, Jaganmohan Reddy called upon people of the state to continue the struggle until the demand is achieved. The YSRCP believes that the people of AP would benefit in terms of jobs, industrial and economic growth only with a special status as the state suffered a setback after the bifurcation into AP and Telangana.

No word about special category status

Prime Minister Narendra Modi avoided the mention of special status for Andhra Pradesh all through his speech at the Amaravati foudation laying ceremony.
However, Modi asserted that all provisions made in the bifurcation law will be fulfilled.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for Andhra Pradesh new capital city Amaravati, Modi said all misunderstandings had cropped up about the promises of bifurcation only because of the haphazard way of the bifurcation process by the Congress government.

Announcements differ from Decisions

1.Chandrababu is master of camouflage; the events of the Capital are proof of it. When a debate comes up on State Capital the dialogue that comes out of his mouth is that the state separation has happened completely unilaterally without taking consent of anyone (This is told when he is Andhra Pradesh but in Telangana he says that he was the first person to write a letter to separate the states and brags that all the credit of state separation goes to him). This same person, while constructing the state capital which is the future of the state, did not consult any political party and did not hold an ‘All Party meet’. He did not collect the opinions & views of political parties, experts, journalists, public groups & voluntary organizations. He declared the capital completely on his sole decision.

2.When Hyderabad is lost the Andhra Pradesh state faced problems because all development in the combined states was completely concentrated in Hyderabad. So, he said that he will concentrate on all-round development of the state along with the argument of few others. But now he is diverting complete development to Amaravati alone ignoring his all-round development idea doing the same mistake again. What is his intention of doing this?

3. The ruling leaders who were boasting that they were building such a big capital have abandoned transparency. Why are they giving away everything to Singapore companies in Swiss Challenge method and not following the system of inviting tenders? What is the mystery behind giving away works to the companies as they desire and what is the secret behind the ministers handling the complete transactions with those companies?

4. In the state separation act it was clearly mentioned that the Central Government will bear all the costs of constructing a new capital, for this Rs.1850 crores were released. Then, what is the reason for putting aside the Central Government and giving the construction works to Singapore Companies? What is the reason for not utilizing the Central funds?

5. What is the intention in not inviting the opposition parties for consulting in taking critical decisions on Capital construction in the beginning? And what is the purport of behaving hasty in inviting them now for foundation ceremony? Is this not your anxiousness to get an agreement from all of them for your corruptive intentions? That is the reason why the opposition leader Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy is questioning on behalf of people and staying away from the foundation ceremony.

AP Capital is biz venture?

Hyderabad, Pointing out that Chandrababu Naidu has openly agreed that his government is into commercial ventures in the name of capital formation and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has endorsed the view, YSR Congress said that the theory of creation of wealth is limited only to the Chief Minister and his coterie and not the people of the state.

‘The Chief Minister, when asked during an interview about the allegations of real estate business by the government, said “how does that matter to them” which is a blatant and categorical statement of agreeing that the real estate business is on.

The Union Minister also endorsing the same to raise funds shows that the intention of the Chandrababu Naidu is only to create wealth among their community and a selected few leaving the welfare of people to lurch,’ party spokesperson K Partha Sarathi told reporters here on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister has proven record of passing on the information to his business associates and close circle that leads to huge profits as seen during the construction of HiTech City with Jayabheri and other institutions reaping benefit out of the advance information.

‘Even now his coterie has purchased land in large extent in the peripheries of the capital area and would make a killing once the capital city is formed. A foreign research scholar has mentioned in his thesis that Chandrababu Naidu has always helped his community and close associates,’ he said.

He has dismissed opposition parties and social organizations and said farmers are more important as they have sacrificed land. ‘In such a case, why was Section 144 and Section 30 invoked in the area along with the threats that the Land Acquisition Act will be imposed or the area will be declared as Green Belt so that no construction can up there.
Majority of the farmers have given the land due to fear of losing the little compensation if they defied the government. There may be some persons who volunteered to give up land but the number is not that big as the claims are made, he said.

Regarding the extravaganza, TDP has been condemning the statement of our leader and party and has put forth an argument that only Rs 9 crores is being spent by the Collectors or Krishna and Guntur districts. This cannot be true going by the scale of the programme. ‘We have seen the disadvantage when all economic activity was concentrated in Hyderabad and we demand that such mistake should not be repeated and there should be all round development,’ he said.

YS Jagan direct questions

Hyderabad:  As the Leader of the opposition YS Jagan is fulfilling his basic function expected from him. He is clearly pointing out the mistakes done by the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. In the name of politics, the way Babu is doing is shown clearly. As a part of this occasion, he raised some direct questions.
1.      Is it fare enough to put the knife on the neck, of farmers and make them given their lands and this land is further given to the private companies, especially companies in Singapore?
2.      Why is 144 section and section 30, implemented in the State.
3.      Why is the Green Tribunal's decision not implemented?
4.      Are you thinking the Assigned lands belong to your in-laws
5.      Why are you hitting the stomach of farmers for your commissions and bribes?
6.      What have you done with Rs. 1850 crores given by the Central Government?
7.      When Center is ready to support the Capital formation, why is it given to Singapore companies?
8.      Haven't you purchased 100 crores of land around Capital city on binami names?
9.      For one day, you are spending Rs. 400 Crores of people's money in vain.
10.  Is it not spending lakhs of Crores for foreign companies?
There are no answers for these questions with Chandrababu. That's the reason I am not willing to attend the Capital foundation function.  But, I  am not against the capital formation, stated Jagan.

YS Jagan open letter to Chandrababu Naidu

The leader of Opposition, YSRCP President, YS Jagan has written an open letter to Chandrababu Naidu. In the letter he mentioned, I could see your invitations for the Capital foundation via television and other media. Don’t even send any invitation to me. Later don’t blame me that I didn’t attend even after receiving the invitation. Whatever You and your Ministers are going to do is already revealed clearly to the people of the State. Saying this, Jagan wrote a letter including these 8 points.

Reasons for not attending the program

1) Farmers are forced by authority and power to submit their lands where land has been grabbed while few gave their lands out of displeasure. This way the capital is formed out of the curses of farmers lives. Farmers can grow three crops in such fertile lands which have been grabbed by force by putting knife on the necks of poor farmers. This is what has been mentioned prior to you by raising voice and protesting against it, still you did not change.

So, I am not interested to come..

2) Why section 30 and section 144 are implemented in capital region? If people are happy why are these sections needed? Why are such sections implemented from the past one year in this area?

3) As the Green Tribunal's judgment, given by the Court and people’s feelings does not count for you. So, against your attitude I don’t want to come.

4) You had a poor opinion on assigned lands, and the lands of the poor. Thinking as if it is your property, you occupied them at your wish. Against your mentality I am not interest to come.

 5) For your commissions, for your bribes and for your real estate business you have used the people and hitting on their stomach. You are distributing those lands to private and foreign companies and other companies of Singapore. I am protesting against your attitude and not to support your in such scam I am not interested to come.

6) The central government has allotted Rs.  1850 crores for capital formation. It also promised more to give for Ring Road, along with the other infrastructures in Andhra Pradesh. Submit the bills after spending so that we can give more is what Central government is specifying.  According to the Act, the government said that it would meet all the needs for the capital formation. Then, why your require private companies or private foreign companies in Singapore.  As a part of capital construct the High Court, Secretariat, Assembly, government offices, where required, build public lands, roads in the capital and leave the land to the people. It is upto the people if they go for real estate or they will keep it for themselves. Instead, you have forced them to leave their lands and robbed them by force only for the sake of real estate business. Protesting that, I am not coming.

7) Under different names of your family members on binami you purchased hundreds of acres of land in the capital city. However, you left those lands and only made the poor to abandon their land. So, protesting against your act, I am not coming.

8) Lavishly spending the public money on one day program, which is almost Rs. 400 crores going in vain. So, against that, I am not coming.

Finally, we are not against the construction of the capital. You are not laying foundation for peoples capital. It is not even for the poor people's capital. It's for your real estate business,  for earning trillions of money illegally, To move money in trillions to foreign companies,  you're laying the foundation by hitting on the stomach of farmers. Because of all these and for the sake of people we are opposing it.

YS Sharmila Statement at Government Hospital

Guntur : YSRCP President, Jagan's sister Sharmila fired on Babu. Sharmila met YS Jagan in Guntur hospital along with her mother and sister-in-law and enquired about his health condition. During this situation, she spoke to media and bursted on Chandrababu Naidu. Instead of appreciating Jagan who is fighting for special status, not even bothered and with his irresponsible attitude he made the Council of Ministers to make worst comments.

Giving preference to Publicity instead of public
She commented that Naidu's interest is only focussed on publicity rather than the public.  She said, Naidu is aware of the situation which will turn worst if the strike moves towards a serious situation, so, to defend that, they ruined the fast. As Chandrababu Naidu neglected the special status, it is YS Jagan who has taken the responsibility on his shoulders. She bursted Naidu for deceiving people in the name of special status for 15 years,  promising for jobs, and other schemes and got power shamelessly. Is Babu a leader? questioned Sharmila.
 This fighting will never stop
Sharmila stated that since an year, YS Jagan is continuously struggling to evoke the minds of people to identify the importance of Special status. Until the central and state governments guarantee about the special status, this fight will never stop, specified Sharmila.  She mentioned that Jagan will never stop fighting and will start his fight for the special status again. Sharmila mentioned that according to the reports, stated by the doctor, his body is having more uric acid, while the ketone levels have to reduce a lot. Today he will be given fluids and tomorrow he will be given semi-fluids. Till then he cannot eat anything specified doctors, said Sharmila.

How can we get Special Status

How can we get special status. This is the major question circulating among public. The YSRCP is the only party fighting for this noble cause.

 * protest march in Vijayawada on Oct 14
* Rallies in every constituency on Oct 18
* Dharnas at Govt offices on Oct 19
* Candle rallies on October 20
*dharnas at bus dipos on october 21

The YSRCP has decided to go whole hog on the issue of special status to the state of Andhra Pradesh. Though YS Jagan's deeksha was foiled by high-handed police and the TDP government, the party has decided to continue the stir in other forms.

According to party leaders, a slew of protest programmes have been chalked out. On Wednesday, the party leaders, including MLAs, MLCs and MPs, would take out a mark from PW grounds to CM camp office in Vijayawada to protest against the foiling of Deeksha.

It is a silent protest

Guntur: The support for YS Jagan's hungers strike to get the special status for Andhra Pradesh  is increasing day by day. It is raising a curtain for a quiet revolution in the minds of people in the four directions of Andhra Pradesh.
Initially, the hunger strike initiated by the Leader of Opposition, YSRCP leader Jagan is considered as a public fight. But, quite clearly people are able to understand the need and  getting special status as an elixir, and only one party is fighting for it which is the YSRCP. Especially, getting the special status to our state is our right and not on the mercy of Government. Though  this is our right is known, still Chandrababu Naidu is not taking any right step to get the special status, as he is only concentrating about the way he should come out
At present, people from different corners of Andhra Pradesh are approaching the stadium where the strike is taking place. People are giving immense support to the leader. By now he left parties also stated their opinions and support to the movement.  CPI(M) state secretary Madhu himself visited the camp and expressed solidarity towards the strike. As a part of supporting the protest, the CPI secretary, Ramakrishna questioned Naidu and demanded to give clarity on the special status. The MRPS Chief Manda krishna met Jagan and shared his support to him. The farmers' associations and the public, especially youth groups, voluntary associations with the protest, expressed their solidarity.

Pinnacle of Conspiracies

Guntur: Despite hatred from the people of the state, Chandrababu & Co were not mending their behavior. Chandrababu is concocting plot to discredit the fight of the opposition leader & YSRCP Chief Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy, time and again! His plot to tamper the health bulletin was just made public by Y.S.Jagan himself.

The Glucometer brought by the doctors every day is showing false readings. On Sunday night Y.S.Jagan asked his people to get a new glucometer. First the tampered glucometer of the doctors showed sugar levels as 88Mg, and then Y.S.Jagan took out the new glucometer which showed the reading as 77Mg. With this the conspiracy of the Government was exposed publicly. Also, they are tampering the samples taken to Guntur Government Hospital. They are giving different reports on Ketones. Y.S.Jagan was very furious on this behavior of the Government.

How can you say he is the leader of this generation

The YSRCP President is considered as the leader of this generation by his initiation in starting his indefinite hunger strike in Guntur, for thespecial status of State. To fulfill the dreams of younger generation and make a room for their wishes to fulfill he has laid the foundation.

YS Jagan addressed the people on the platform laid to protest for the special status. He could impress the people of Guntur. With the same flow, he explained the importance and interest about the Special status to students and youth. He said very clearly that this effort is only for the sake of thepeople of this generation. In addition to these children of this generation, he stated that he will put all his efforts and fight.
Jagan could make the people to state the frauds done by Babu. Farm loan waiver, DWCRA loans, loan waiver, jobs for the unemployed schemes were simply frauds which were revealed by people present in the meeting. It is clearly understood that the youth is along with him. At the same time, the deeds of Babu in preventing the state to get the special status were stated to people openly. The TDP has nothing to say, if all these things are captured, said Jagan pushing them to defense. “Our People briefed me” when these words were mentioned by Jagan and the way Naidu is speaking English, people expressed their joy.

Chandrababu deceived the people

Chandrababu deceived the people: YS Jagan

Guntur: Leader of Opposition and the YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s indefinite Deeksha began  c at Nallapadu Junction in Guntur city. YS jagan strongly objected the style of Chandrababu. He remarked that  Babu duped DWCRA women and farmers.

Here are the top comments of his speech:

1. In the run-up to the election, Chandrababu repeated ad nauseum, that he wants special status for 10 days. The state was divided without taking into account the problems being faced by us.

2. Babu promised jobs to all and said he would give compensation if there were no jobs. Today there are no jobs. They are not providing any ex-gratia. The students are not getting jobs. There is no job notification. Not even the calendar of exams has been released.

3. Over 2 lakh contract and outsourcing employees are looking for jobs. But, Chandrababu is removing them from their jobs. Some 35000 contract workers and 30000 model farmers, even 40000 Sangha Mitras have been removed.

4. Babu, who promised special status,is today asking whether this is a panacea for all all ills and says this is unimportant. Why is he not asking for special status. Why is he silent on this?

5. The special status would mean there would be 90 per cent grant and 10 per cent loan component in every disbursal. This will be beneficial to AP.

6.If there was special status, there would be heavy discounts and tax exemptions to industries. This will spur economic growth and prosperity.

7. We have a massive and long coastline, where a lot of jobs can be created. All these are possible only when we have special status.

8. Chandrababu Naidu is not bringing any pressure on the Centre, as he wants to wriggle out of the cash for vote scam. To bail himself out, he is prostrating before the Central Government.

9. This misrule will end. It will be bundled and thrown into the Bay of Bengal. If we agitate, the TDP government will understand and act.

10.  We need to bring pressure on the TDP government and Chandrababu. Let us fight unitedly and bring pressure on him.

What’s happening in the Capital..!

Guntur: The way things are happening and the way they are campaigned and projected is completely different in the Capital region. Naidu government is projecting itself that whatever the promises made for land pooling are taken care, thought they are not done in reality.

The government has promised a lot to the farmers in the past but when it comes to practicality, it comes to the compensation; the government is cheating and projecting false figures. Government mentioned that compensation will be given for all assigned lands however, only 938 acres of land is provided compensation while the total land is 2040 acres. Remaining land is skipped easily. They mention it as dispute lands. Till now the way land is given compensation is still not clear in Lanka village.

They bluffed that they would provide training to farmers in skill development institutions. A total of 24000 members had been recognized for this purpose to provide training for these selected. However, there are more than 50000 workers. This means less than half of the workers are given that opportunity. Later, only 6000 people were claimed to be eligible and at last 250 people were trained.

Promises were announced grandly to provide pension for landless poor. Here 50,000 of poor were expected to receive the pension among one lakh poor. Eventually, 23,500 persons were considered written for pension on the paper. Finally, only 13,019 people were given pensions.

Individual lacking opportunities for employment were promised to be supported by the employment guarantee scheme. Till now there is no clarity on this. On paper, it is stated that 30000 members were provided employment among 150000 members. In the end, however, 1980 have been selected for plantation.

Then there were assuring about free medicine to public and free education for children. Until now, the guidelines have not been released. Promises were made to set up canteens to provide low cost food to the poor. Not a single canteen was opened in the area.

This way, though the promises were ensured in the capital region, only 10% were implemented while 90% are left unimplemented till date. But the campaign is made as if they have fulfilled 100% of their promises.

Purely Commercial Capital

Vijayawada: It is known to everyone that the State Government has already grabbed thirty three thousand acres from the farmers for constructing Andhra Pradesh New Capital 'Amaravati'. It is also preparing grounds to de-notify another fifty thousand forest lands. The Central government has informed the state government that it will announce its decision on this in another 15 days. With this the State Capital will sprawl across one lakh acres.

Full of Companies
All the lands acquired in the Capital region are in the hands of the government which is now planning to form 'Amaravati Development Corporation' and handover all the lands to it. This way they will allot the lands to the companies whom so ever they wish.

Complete Real Estate Business
The government is planning to divide this capital region into different zones like Commercial, Entertainment, IT, Tourism etc., and handover the zones to different companies. Amendment sin the law to give these companies full rights is on the way. The rumours are coming out as to whether they will also make a provision so that the companies can also sell these lands if need arises.

A curse to Farmers
In the midst of all this happening there is no clarity on the fate of the farmers. It seems like the partnership to those who gave the prime resources will be confined to the papers in the 'Continuous Inclusive Development' plan. In this way it is even suspicious whether the promised thousand yards to the farmers will be fulfilled or not.

Cleverly Sidetracked
The Plot is Unravelling
Crooked Game of Babu

Hyderabad: The project which is very beneficial to all the people, Polavaram, was side tracked by Chandrababu for selfish & greedy needs. This was even said by the friendly BJP. The member of Ministers Cadre of BJP, Minister Kondala Manikyalarao revealed that the works are going at snail’s pace in Polavaram.

Cleverly Sidetracked
The Chandrababu & co laid out a meticulous plan to rob hundreds of crores in Pattiseema. They decided to carry out Polavaram project works in snail’s pace and stage a drama that needed funds & support from the Centre are not coming. For Pattiseema they sidetracked Polavaram.

The plot unravelling
The BJP Party leaders recognized this plot and the BJP State President Haribabu and Minister Manikyalarao announced this publicly. They stressed that there is no objection from Centre towards Polavaram Project and indirectly revealed that everything is a fault of Chandrababu Government.

If the Polavaram Project gets completed the credit of it goes to the Late Chief Minister Y.S.Rajsekhar Reddy. Chandrababu who does not like this to happen is playing a crooked game. As this was exposed by the BJP leaders, we must wait and see what would be the response of Chandrababu and his party.
