YSRC orders inquiry on Dalit attacks

YSR Congress demanded a probe into the growing attacks on Dalits and alleged that the incidents have surfaced ever since TDP government has come to power.

YSR Congress Party SC Cell Convener M Nagarjuna on Monday stated that the state is not handing the Dalits their due share in welfare according to the sub-plan and the numerous attacks on Dalits including Dalit officials in Andhra Pradesh should be scrutinized.

Citing examples of a Sub-Inspector committing suicide in Srikakulam district, murder of YSRCP Kurnool district SC Cell president, nine Dalits injured in attacks in Rapthadu and Tadipatri constituency, suicide of YSRC party worker Kuchipudi Gandhi in Ponnuru constituency and death of a field assistant due to harassment of TDP workers in Narsaraopet constituency, the YSRC leader said that dalits are being discriminated by TDP party.

Hence he demanded that the AP Government should order an official inquiry into the attacks on Dalits and also probe into the cases already registered.

RTC staff gets YS Jagan’s support

Ananthapuram, Expressing solidarity with the RTC employees who are on strike, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has demanded that the State should resolve the issue immediately and if there is no breakthrough within four days YSRCP will join and intensify the agitation by observing a state-wide bandh.

“The main demand of 43 % fitment is a very just demand and the State should concede to this demand. The strike has entered the seventh day but no solution is forthcoming. If the same situation continues, YSR Congress will extend full support to the employees and give a State-wide bandh call,” he said while addressing RTC employees here on Tuesday.

“It was Chandrababu Naidu who has said before elections in April 2014 that RTC will be merged with State Government and their pay will be equal. He went a step further and said that the pay structure will be revised and it will be on par with Central Government pay scales.

After coming to power he discarded his poll promise and is very indifferent to the just demands of the RTC employees who are on strike for the past seven days.

We express our solidarity with you and if no solution is found within four days from the Government side we will give a call for state-wide bandh,” he said.

YS Jagan condemns political killings

Ananthapuram, Condemning the political attacks and vindictive arrests of YSR Congress leaders, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said the attacks are State sponsored and government offices have become a haven to settle political scores.

“The MRO office has become the venue for the murder of Prasada Reddy who was called by the officials to the office on phone and was brutally murdered on arrival. When tempers ran high following the murder and people stormed the office seeking justice, cases were booked and the Government has put  the two-time MLA Gurunatha Reddy in jail.

There is no proper explanation or action on the murder of our leader but Gurunatha Reddy along with his followers went to the MRO office, they were booked on charges of arson and sent to jail which shows the discrimination of state machinery that is acting at the behest of Chief Minister,” he told reporters after visiting Gurunatha Reddy in the jail here on Monday.

The murder taking place in the MRO office and the invitation coming from the office shows that the Government machinery is being blatantly misused. There was no action on the ghastly murder taking place in the Government office but when our party leaders came to the venue in protest, false cases were foisted on them,” he said.

Just one week before the murder of Prasada Reddy, our party single window Chairman Vijay Bhaskar was called to the office by the CEO and was asked to quit and when he refused, he was beaten to death.

Calling political adversaries to government offices and settling political scores has become a pattern and we have to fight this injustice, he said.

The Leader of Opposition after visiting Gurunatha Reddy at the jail has also visited the houses of Prasad Reddy and Vijay Bhaskar and consoled the bereaved family members.

Secret behind Lokesh’s American tour..?

Hyderabad: The secret behind Lokesh’s American trip is revealed. News is spread around that the appointment has been fixed for Lokesh to meet the American President, Barrack Obama. For this, the yellow media branding has already started publicizing. So, what next, the young leader is about to meet the American President, where he would definitely discuss about the Chandrababu Naidu’s rule in the new State and the Capital formation. This is all advertised by yellow media.

Here lies the magic. In reality, Lokesh met American President, Obama on 7th of this month in Portland, where the President is on his tour in that place, where he is a part of the Party fund collections, organized by the Democratic Party in Sentinel Hotel where everyone is allowed to participate.

There is a tradition in America, where different methods are employed to raise the party fund. This means, When the President is present in the party; any one can participate by purchasing different range of tickets under different costs. For example, if any one pays, 500 dollars, the person is allowed to participate in the dinner party, if  5000 dollars are paid, the person can take a photo with the president, if 10000 dollars are paid there can participate in a small meeting “Meet and Greet” with Obama. So, there lies the logic. This means if the cost for the ticket is paid to meet President, then meeting is possible.

This means that anyone can pay money to participate. Thought money is paid to get the appointment with the President, it has been portrayed that they got an appointment. The same methodologies were followed before elections recently by AAP party. Yellow media is capable of doing it very well for such occasions.

The yellow media might have shown the breaking news in the television channels this month as “Young leader is about to meet Obama”. The next day, they might have announced in the channels as, “Obama congratulated Lokesh or Obama is very much impressed by Chandrababu Governance or Obama follows Naidu in building the Capital” may be highlighted as news items in yellow media news papers. If public would know the background of this, we might expect some break for this flow of news.

YS Jagan deeksha on June 5, 6

Hyderabad, Upping the ante against TDP Government for its failures and apathy towards farmers, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would undertake two-day deeksha on June 5 and 6.

“TDP has no moral right to celebrate Vijaya yatra for completing one year in office as the term is littered with failure on all fronts and has evaded all the poll promises making a mockery of election manifesto.

To highlight the failures of the TDP Government during the one year, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will undertake two-day fast at a venue which will be in between Vijayawada and Guntur on June 5 and 6. Party leaders Ummareddy Venkateswarlu and Farmers’ Cell Convener MVS Nagi Reddy told reporters here on Sunday.

Instead of Vijaya yatra , TDP should observe Vyphalya (Failure) Yatra and it owes an explanation for going back on all the poll promises, more so the failure of waive all agriculture loans.

“Our Party President during the two-day deeksha will give a blow-by-blow account with full details and data as to how Chandrababu Naidu has fooled farmers and other sections of the people during and after the elections besides exposing his tall claims which lack feasibility. How the women groups, students, youth and employees are cheated will be revealed once again with full details.

TDP has no moral right to go ahead with the Victory Celebrations and the very purpose of manifesto was defeated with Chandrababu Naidu going back on all the poll promises,” they said.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had earlier went on a two-day deeksha on March 31 and April 1 at Tanuku which has evoked tremendous response. The facts and figures are there for everyone to see as the SLBC has shown farmers’ debt of Rs 87,612 crores as on March 31, 2014 and it has gone up to Rs 97, 915 crores while the State is claiming to have cleared the loans in two phases.

The farmers are not getting MSP and are forced to sell the products at less than the MSP, the input costs have gone up manifold and input subsidy was not forthcoming. On the irrigation front, funds are not allocated to the projects that are nearing completion while priority is being given to Pattiseema project which hampers the existence of Polavaram project.

For Farmers.. For Farming families..!

YSRCP President YS Jagan restarts Raithu Bharosa Yatra for the sake of farmers and farming families. First phase yatra took place in Ananthapuram district. It is restarting in the same district.

Chandra Babu ditched the farmers in the name of waiver of loans. As previous loans are not waived and new loans are not available from banks farmers had to approach private financiers for loans. Banks are imposing more interests on the farmer’s previous loans. Private financiers impose compound interests on the new loans taken by the farmers. Finally farmers are completely surrounded by interests and loans. There doesn’t seem any end or solution to these problems. Frustrated by the situations few farmers committed suicides in some places.

Opposition Leader YS Jagan raised this issue in winter session of Assembly. He requested the government to respond on it and provide help to the farmers. But Chandra babu government instead of responding positively has given false statements, stating that there are no suicides of farmers in this state. YS Jagan responded strongly and stated that he is going to start a yatra to identify the farmer suicide families and talk to them. As he said, he started raithu bharosa yatra after the assembly sessions. He consoled to 11 families during that time.

Now, YS Jagan restarts Raithu Bharosa Yatra. He will console the family of Prasad Reddy, who was killed by yellow shirts gundas. Then he will talk to and console the families of farmer’s suicide in that district.

Master plan to destroy the life of Farmers

Hyderabad: Every day the master plan conspiracy set behind the capital formation, by Chandrababu Naidu is revealed one after the other each day.  Every day such conspiracies are been highlighted by well known popular people who clearly mention about the unending thirst of Chandrababu Naidu.

Within three days, Intellectual people – Medha patkar, Sivaramakrishnan and Anna Hazare, clearly declared the conspiracy by stating that Chandrababu Naidu is playing a worst game on the name of Capital formation.
Chandrababu Naidu is grabbing the land from the farmers and selling at dead cheap price to corporate companies where one example is Jaggi Vasudev Rao.

People says that, Under the name of CRDA, Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s master plan is to grab the land from poor farmers and share it to son Lokesh, Closest friend like Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, Minister Narayana etc. This is clearly visible by the cunning motto behind Chandrababu Naidus goal. YSRCP as an opposition party questioned the Ruling party government to display the Master plan for the Capital city, however there was no response from the Telugu Desam Party. It is clear the Chandrababu Naidu has set the Master plan to only to snatch the land in the name of capital formation, from the Farmers and bestow it to his son Lokesh, and other Corporate politicians who are around.

Is there any full stop for the urge of occupying and grabbing thousands to lakhs of land pooling, by Chandrababu Naidu, on the name of Capital formation or any other reason? Medha patkar, Sivaramakrishnan (Retired IAS officer) and Anna Hazare, clearly declared the conspiracy by stating that Chandrababu Naidu is playing a worst game on the name of Capital formation. Still Naidu is not found guilty about his acts. So, it is only the people who have to teach him the right lesson.

Chandrababu Naidu show off that he came from a poor farmer background and hence he always thinks of the farmers, but in reality it is he who is changing the farmers into coolies. Further, his master plan is making it clear, that he can still go ahead and make these farmers to move as coolies to different states.

Chandrababu Naidu seems to be ignorant about the revolution against the land pooling going on overall the country. Why his heart didn't even melt when a farmer committed suicide at the centre of Delhi? The TDP Government ruled by Babu is only to harm people and belittle the farmers.

Chandrababu Naidu feels that no one is known about the Conspiracy and injustice planned by him and going on behind the Capital formation. He may be thinking that he can even manage the Media and corporate organizations, not to reveal it. However, no one can stop the Sun with a hand which seems to be foolishness.

Chandrababu Naidu’s high drama is to plan for a foreign company to create the Capital, which is abiding and following his rules and conspiracy thoughts and based on this he got the Swiss challenge method forward. The circumference of the Capital city is increased nearly 370 Sq km, which will further demolish the farmers families is the cruel decision of Naidu.

Even Courts are responding to the injustice done by Chandrababu Naidu on the name of Capital formation. Petitions are taken forward raising 9.2 forms given by farmers stating their objections against land pooling by different farmers. Petition is raised in the courts that the CRDA is to be considered against the constitution.

As there is no action taken by the court against or accepting the petitioners towards land pooling for the formation of Capital city, it is stated that farmers can approach courts to save their lands. Till then, no one should interfere is clearly made.

But, Chandrababu Naidu doesn't pay his ears to such words and not putting his actions to stop the injustice done to the farmers and save them. A part from those cruel tricks has been enhanced day after day to work against the farmers.

YRCP declared as… “Our party will definitely research on the lands acknowledged and snatched from farmers based on land pooling and the lands donated by Jaggi Vasudevan on coming on board. Distribute the lands to farmers who own it and distribute the Government lands to poor.”

Mr. Siddhaiah said along with the bus services that would be provided by the colleges from railway stations and bus station complexes, helpline desks would also be set up at important junctions.

Commuters suffer as RTC buses in AP, Telangana go off roads

State-owned buses remained off the roads in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for a second consecutive day on Thursday as over one lakh employees continued their indefinite strike, demanding pay revision.

Ignoring the threat by Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) to use Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA), 120,000 employees stayed away from duty.

With nearly 20,000 buses confined to depots, the public road transport service remained pralaysed in both the states, affecting 1.5 crore people.

The attempts by APSRTC management to use the services of contract workers to operate buses met with stiff resistance by the striking employees, leading to tension in some places.

The employees' unions have called for rallies and sit-ins to protest what they call indifferent attitude of the management towards their demand for 43 percent hike in salaries.

Tension prevailed in Hanamkonda town of Warangal district when police stopped employees from taking out a rally. There was a scuffle between policemen and striking workers.

Prohibitory orders have been imposed at all bus stations and depots to prevent protests by the employees.

The management has warned that it will invoke ESMA if the employees failed to return to duties on Thursday

In Andhra Pradesh, a total of 10,576 were off the roads while in Telangana 9,370 buses were confined to depots.

Students, office goers, holidayers, people attending marriages and pilgrims in Tirupati were hit hard by the strike.

The strike is likely to hit hard the students attending EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh on Friday. More than 2.5 lakh students are to appear for the entrance test for admissions into medical and engineering colleges.

The employees are demanding pay revision at par with the other government employees in the two states.

The APSRTC management has turned down the demand citing poor financial condition of the organisation. It has offered 27 percent hike.

APSRTC managing director N. Sambasiva Rao said the hike will put a burden of Rs.2,800 crore on the organisation, which suffered a loss of Rs.950 crore during 2014-15.
