Chandrababu killed democracy

The monsoon session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly was began on a dull note in the absence of the main opposition YSR Congress party.  The opposition has been demanding to disqualify all the defected MLAs from the house.  The turncoats switched loyalties to ruling TDP as Chandrababu Naidu offered Rs 20 to Rs 40 crore each for quitting the YSR Congress.

Party senior leader Gadikota Srikanth Reddy already put the demand for the disqualification of defected legislators before Assembly Speaker K SIva Prasad. But no action was taken so far.  The YSR Congress made it clear that the party MLAs will not attend the assembly unless the Speaker take a decision against the those MLAs.

Srikanth Reddy also said the ruling party owed responsibility for not taking action against the turncoats. Instead, the TDP was holding Assembly session sans the opposition presence.  The YSR Congress leaders alleged that Chandrababu threw the democratic principles to the winds by not respecting the opposition demand.
