Hyderabad: YSR Congress has taken objection to the remarks of Chandrababu Naidu which were belittling the judiciary and blaming the opposition for all and sundry. ‘ If two private parties have gone to the court challenging the Swiss Challenge adopted in the capital creation, Chandrababu Naidu blaming the opposition and dubbing it as stalling development is ridiculous’, party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Friday.
We are not against development but are against the methodology of corruption in the name of development and his remarks that someone goes to court at a weak moment and TDP has to undo the legal tangle has no basis as the entire deal is laden with corruption. Whether Pattiseema, Capital formation of Polavaram all the ventures have been full of irregularities and if the affected party goes to court, Chandrababu Naidu blaming the opposition and calling us as fanatics is absolutely rubbish. We will continue to expose the corrupt practices of Chandrababu Naidu and his son and will stand by the people and their welfare, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu has always been moving courts for stay whenever there has been an exposure and the pattern has been very familiar. The Advocate General has argued on behalf of the State in the Swiss Challenge method and when the single judge had given the ruling, the state has moved higher court for a stay which shows that the deal has many loopholes, he said.
This apart Chandrababu Naidu has been spreading lies even at the BRICS Summit painting a rosy picture of Andhra Pradesh while the reality is otherwise. Putting up a brave face, he had said that the State stands second in the country in terms of ease to do business while it was Telangana that takes that spot and Andhra Pradesh stands much down below at the tenth spot, he said.
Asking his supporters if the Opposition Party is necessary or not looks amusing and the fact is the number of votes differentiating TDP and YSRCP during the 2014 elections was just 5.25 lakhs, which is less than the majority YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has acquired during Kadapa Lok Sabha elections, he said.
