YS Jagan Consoles Road Accident Victims

Hyderabad: The leader of opposition of AP and YSRCP president YS Jagan expressed dismay about the frequent road accidents happening in Telugu states. He expressed shock regarding the road accidents in Khammam district of Telangana and Godavari districts of AP. Upon hearing the news of the road accident in Nayakangudem of Khammam district, he rushed to the location and examined the spot of the accident. Then he reached the hospital and consoled the victims being treated. He inquired the doctors about their well-being.
 

A road accident happened at 2 pm on the early hours of Monday at Nayakangudem of Kusumanchi mandal. The Yatra Genie bus that was on its way to Kakinada from Miyapur of Hyderabad via Suryapet and Khammam, went crashing into Nagarjuna Sagar (NSP) canal at Nayakangudem. Ten people died in the accident and around 26 people were injured.


A road accident happened at Katthipudi village in Sankhavaram mandal of East Godavari district. The RTC bus carrying pilgrims of pushkarams hit a lorry. More than twenty people were injured and four of them are in critical situation in the hospital.

Another road accident took place near Eluru in West Godavari district. An RTC bus hit a resting lorry in the early hours of the Monday, injuring ten people who were on their way from Vijayawada to the temple at Simhachalam for a pilgrimage. The victims were taken to the Government Hospital in Eluru.
