KCR Backed Off On Cash For Vote Case

  • Case should be filed against Chandrababu
  • YSRCP general secretary Konda Raghava Reddy
Hyderabad: Telangana CM KCR, after all the statements he had earlier given about Chandrababu not being able to escape, had for some reason backed off on Cash for Vote case, complained TYSRCP's general secretary Konda Raghava Reddy. Speaking to the media on Wednesday at the party's central office in Hyderabad, he reminded that as YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy submitted the audio tapes of conversation between AP CM Chandrababu and Telangana MLA Stephenson and forensic lab reports pertaining to the same to the court on the 8th of this month, the court had ordered for reinvestigation of the case two days back.
In light of this, Telangana Government was hesitating to add Chandrababu's name to the charge sheet even after 78 hours of the issue of court orders, he specified. He reminded how Telangana CM KCR had been praised in the matter of encounter of gangster Nayeem. He said that the present ACB chief AK Khan was also an  acclaimed officer and given the required freedom, he would expose the truth behind the case, he expressed hope. Konda Raghava Reddy demanded that KCR acted transparently in this matter and held inquiry lawfully.
Raghava Reddy commented that Chandrababu had 'briefed' BJP president Amit Shah and cabinet minister Sujana Chowdary had 'briefed' Governor Narasimhan and he in turn 'briefed' someone else, in order to water down the case. He demanded TRS Government to investigate the case sincerely.
Programme on the 2nd of September
On account of Dr.YS Rajasekhar Reddy's death anniversary on the 2nd of September, service activities would be held throughout Telangana, Raghava Reddy mentioned. He reminded that all areas had been equally developed under YSR's rule. He acclaimed YSR for ruling without political, regional, caste-specific favouritism. He called for the leaders, the activists of YSRCP and other parties to pay tribute to the great leader.
