Guntur: The leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan condoled the bereaved families of the victims of construction site accident that had recently happened at Pedagottipadu village of Prathipadu mandal. As mud blocks fell over during their routine labour at a building construction site in Lakshmipuram, 7 labourers succumbed to death. He spoke to the families of the demised labourers Sunil, Prasanth, Saloman, Rajesh, Seshubabu, Sudhakar and Rakesh and comforted them. They broke into tears upon seeing the leader.

YS Jagan complained that the builder was responsible for their demise and demanded the Government why he had not been arrested till now. He reminded that an ex gratia of Rs.30 lakh and 5 acres of land had been promised to the bereaved families. YS Jagan slammed the Government for not keeping these promises.

He demanded sanction of Rs.5 lakh ex gratia right away to each of the families. He also suggested offering a job to one of their family members. He also cautioned that a dharna would be staged in front of the collectorate if the assistance was not offered within 10 days.
