Chandrababu Is The Obstacle For Special Status

Vijayawada: YSRCP's state general secretary Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy complained that CM Chandrababu was the main obstacle preventing AP from getting special status. He stated that it was shameful of the ruling party leaders to ask the opposition party leaders to go to Delhi and fight for special status. Peddireddy on this occasion reminded that YSRCP had earlier gone to Delhi and protested near the Parliament under the leadership of the leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan. He demanded to know if Chandrababu was ready at least now to take an all-party team to Delhi.
Peddireddy condemned the statements of CM Chandrababu Naidu that special status was not a wonder drug. YSRCP MLAs held a meeting at Vijayawada on Sunday regarding the fight for special status for the state. On this occasion, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and Parthasarathy spoke. They questioned how Chandrababu was travelling abroad while the state was immersed in severe problems. They demanded to know why TDP ministers were not resigning to the cabinet when the state was being victim of the centre's decisions. Participating in this meeting were YSRCP MLAs Kodali Nani, Uppuleti Kalpana, Pratap Apparao, Parthasarathy, Vangaveeti Radha, Perni Nani, Udayabhanu, Jogi Ramesh and Lella Appireddy.
