TDP government is riddled with corruption and commissions: YS Jagan

Podili: Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu lacks leadership qualities as he does not have commitment towards the people, constantly misleads the people and consequently cannot be trusted, Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.
The YSRCP president was speaking at a public meeting here on Monday on the 98th day of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra. "A chief minister should have certain leadership qualities and must implement the promises he has made to the people. However, the constant lying and misleading the people on the issue of Special Category Status (SCS) by the CM indicates that he cannot be trusted. Apparently, he does not have the commitment towards the welfare of the people," he said.
He is now speaking about special package for the state when it was SCS that was promised at the time of bifurcation in the Parliament, YS Jagan told the huge gathering of people. "The CM's lies are further exposed when he spoke about investments to the state. At a meeting in Vizag, he claimed Rs 4.39 lakh crore investments in the state resulting in lakhs of jobs. He also gave absolutely misleading numbers to the Governor when he mentioned that Rs 15 lakh crore investments were made in AP in the last financial year. However, the Central government reports state that AP received less than Rs 5,000 crore investments. If Chandrababu's claims are true, then where are the jobs that follow the investments," the YSRCP chief asked the massive crowd.
Speaking on the issue of drought conditions in Markapuram, he said the state government failed to provide input subsidy to the farmers, the Veligonda project is in shambles and hence no scope of providing water to the ryots. The kharif and rabi crops have failed due to scanty rainfall and the chief minister fails to announce any relief measures for the farmers, YS Jagan said.
The YSRCP chief called on the people to vote out the TDP government that is riddled with corruption, commissions and promises that were never fulfilled in the past four years.

YS Jagan will complete Veligonda project In A year

Prakasam: YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will complete the long pending Veligonda project in one year time once he becomes Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, party senior leader and MP YS Subba Reddy said.
The project will fetch irrigation and drinking water needs in  Markapuram and Kondepi assembly constituencies in Prakasham district, he said while participating in a public meeting conducted as part of  Praja Sankalpa Yatra by YS Jagan in the Podili town.
Chandrababu Naidu neglected the project for the last  four years.  During the YSR regime, the project workers were completed on 12 km stretch. The project  will also address florosis problem in the backward district.

Reiterating that YS Jagan will bring back Rajanna Rajyam in Andhra Pradesh,  YV Subba Reddy said the party will fight for special status till the centre consented its demand.  The party will fight insides and outside the Parliament on special status issue. The YSR Congress leader came down heavily on CM for not taking up the special status issue seriously with the centre.

Women narrated their problems to YS Jagan

P.C. Palli, Prakasam district: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy listened to the complaints of women of this arid area in backward Prakasam district, who narrated their problems to him. They told him that they were forced to buy a potful of water for Rs. 10 to quench their thirst in view of the widespread scarcity in the region. Further, they said the water which was supplied to the people of region was not potable. They simply could not drink what was supplied by the civic authorities and hence were compelled to buy water at such exorbitant costs. They requested the YSRCP Chief to ensure that pure drinking water was supplied to the residents of the area.

Irmiya of Veera Obunapalli was among those who met the YSRCP chief to narrate their problems. He lamented that the TDP government had not filled up backlog vacancies. The disabled were denied their rightful quota in employment and the few jobs that were given were being 'sold' by the Telugu Desam leaders, he said.

People of Billikurava mandal who have been taking part in the Praja Sankalpa Yatra for the past three days, expressed the view that the most deprived sections of society wished to see YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the chief minister of the state, this time around.

YS Jagan's assurance to Mala Madiga Communities

Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that his party would establish separate corporations for the welfare of Mala and Madiga communities.
The YSRCP would ensure their social and economic upliftment, he said. During the course of the 97th day of his mass outreach program, Praja Sankalpa Yatra which moved through Kanigiri and Markapuram constituencies today, YS Jagan compared the Mala and Madiga communities to his two eyes. Each community was equally dear to him and he would bend every sinew to ensure justice to them, he asserted. The YSRCP Chief added that he shared a special kinship with them and empathised with their condition. During lunch break, he met a delegation of SC leaders led by Kommuri Kanaka Rao Madiga, who had been fighting for the establishment of a Madiga Corporation. The delegation submitted a petition to the leader of opposition listing out their demands and sought his help.
Kanaka Rao Madiga requested YS Jagan to help them fight for their due place in society and in the alleviation of their socio-economic and educational status. He recalled the recommendations made by the Justice Usha Mehra Commission in this regard. He expressed anguish that funds earmarked for the SC community were not reaching Madigas. The TDP government had ignored their repeated pleas and a demand for a separate Corporation for the Madiga community which would help them overcome social, and educational backwardness and caste discrimination. YS Jagan assured them of all help in fighting against caste discrimination and reiterated the point that he was committed to setting up a separate Corporation for the Madiga community which would be done once YSRCP comes to power. He pointed out that relationships in villages were defined by fond familial terms and expressions such as pinni (aunt), chinnanna (uncle), anna (older brother) atha (aunt) etc.
The YSRCP chief observed that classification of SC communities came under the purview of the Union government and unlike Chandrababu Naidu, he cannot cheat people by giving them false assurances and commitments. However he requested members of the delegation to undertake a deeper study and meet him again on the classification of SC sub-castes. On the subject of reservations of SCs, the YSRCP chief pointed out that it was implemented differently in the North and South and a thorough background study was needed in this regard, as well. The YSRCP Chief assured the delegation of his support to their cause and in leaving no stone unturned to fight for the welfare of the SC community.

YSRCP to initiate no-confidence motion against Centre on March 21

Main opposition party YSRCP has announced that it would move no-confidence motion against the union government on March 21 in the parliament.

YSRCP MP YV Subba Reddy would submit a notice to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan under the Clause 184 to move the motion of no confidence.

The opposition party has been intensifying protest with a slogan 'Don't betray us with Special Package, Special Status is our right'.

As part of the protest, the YSRCP has already carved out a strategy to stage protests in the national capital in the coming months of March and April. The YSRCP MPs would resign from their posts on April 6 if there is no announcement from the Centre on Special Status.

Speaking to media persons, spokesperson Ambati Rayudu said that YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had only accepted the challenge made by Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan to move the motion.

Pawan's statements on no confidence motion are childish

The YSRCP, on Tuesday, slammed Pawan Kalyan for his statements on the proposed no confidence to be introduced in the Parliament on March 21.
Addressing the media, YSRCP spokesman Ambati Rambabu  said that the Pawan's statements on the no confidence motion are childish and out of tune with reality. "It was the actor who first mooted the idea of no confidence motion. YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy implemented that idea through a concrete plan of action," he clarified. However, the statements issued by Pawan are wrong where he stated that YS Jagan threw a challenge at him regarding the special status, Rambabu said. "While accepting the suggestion by Pawan, the YSRCP chief only said that the actor should also take his partner TDP into confidence on the issue.
Irrespective of the Jana Sena leader's comments, the YSRCP will go ahead with protests at the Parliament on March 5. This will be followed by moving a no confidence motion in the Parliament on March 21," he said. He also slammed CM Chandrababu's statement that the no confidence motion will not serve any purpose. "Pawan Kalyan should speak to Chandrababu on a united fight to implement the no confidence motion. It is common knowledge that 50 MPs should sign the motion for it to be debated in the Parliament. Failure to garner the support of the 50 MPs will result in the motion not being taken up for debate. Therefore, the YSRCP calls for a united fight by all political parties against the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget 2018," Ambati Rambabu said.
The YSRCP spokesman also slammed Pawan Kalyan's statement that he will go to Delhi and conince all parties to support the no confidence motion. "Pawan Kalyan cannot convince his ally Chandrababu Naidu and therefore his plans to convince national parties is out of place," he said

Chandrababu neglected Prakasam completely

The Chandrababu Naidu government does not provide minimum support price for any crop as evident from the plight of farmers in the district, Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.
Interacting with people on the 90th day of the padayatra in Valetivaripalem in Kandukuru constituency, he said tobacco farmers suffered the most as the TDP government promised to rescue them but did not provide support price for their produce. Speaking to YS Jagan, the farmers said that the price given to tobacco crop is the same for 10 years. Similarly, for grams and millets the price is less than half of that given last year, they told the YSRCP president. Moved by the plight of the farmers, YS Jagan called for wide publicity to the failures of the TDP government in helping the ryots. "It is not just the farmers, but every section of the society was deceived by the chief minister including DWCRA women, youth, students and government employees," YS Jagan said.
A few tobacco farmers told YS Jagan that the government discontinued pension for them without any explanation, while others stated that they did not receive any loan waiver as claimed by the TDP government.
At Polinenivaripalem, women told the YSRCP president about the plight of women and children in the TDP regime. After a patient hearing, he told them that as soon as the YSRCP government takes charge, every mother who sends her children to school will be given Rs 15,000 to ensure that the students do not discontinue their studies. Similarly, loans of DWCRA women will be repaid by the YSRCP government in four installments, he assured the women on the occasion.
Meanwhile, a delegation of advocates from Eluru in West Godavari met YS Jagan on Saturday and expressed their solidarity with the ongoing padayatra.

*YS Jagan asks TDP & Pawan Kalyan to unite for the interest of Andhra Pradesh*

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy addressing a Public rally in Kandukuru AC, Prakasham district said that. YSRCP will pass the no confidence motion in Parliament during the  last week of March 2018.

YS Jagan said that CM Chandra Babu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan  should leave the demand for Special Package as it bears no fruit for the State, and should only fight for SCS.  There is no purpose with joint fact finding committee, he added.

Pawan Kalyan and TDP should join and unite for the fight demanding SCS for the State.

AP People Fed Up With Chandrababu Govt, Want YS Jagan As CM

People in Andhra Pradesh are fed up with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s government. They rallied behind YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by extending support to the leader's Praja Sankalpa Yatra taken up to ascertain ground reality in the state.

People mainly youth,  women,  farmers and all poorer sections are pouring out thier woes before YS Jagan and requested him to come to the rescue of them.  The Padayatra has been receiving huge response from people who accorded tomoultous welcome to YSR Congress party chief in every district. He already covered Kadapa,  Anantapur,  Kurnool,  Chittoor, Nellore and the yatra entered in Prakasham district recently.

Chandrababu Behind JFC!

Amidst ongoing issue between TDP and its partner BJP and the YSR Congress Party's deadline to the centre on according special status to Andhra Pradesh,  the  constitution of Joint Fact Finding Committee ( JFC) overnight under the leadership of Pawan Kalyan raised many doubts on the role of Chandrababu Naidu.

The acceptance of JFC demand to AP to submit a report on central funding and heading the committee by Pawan gave clear indication of Chandrababu Naidu's  key role in the creation of JFC.

Pawan has been the strong supporter of Chandrababu ever since the duo fought 2014 elections together. The Jana Sena leader never pointed out the failures of Chandrababu and also did not question the AP over its failure in getting special status and special package also.

Andhra political leaders questioned the AP government for accepting the JFC demand to furnish all the details of central funds and status of all development works.  The committee was neither the government body nor it has any support from all parties.

Leaders says in a bid to water down the ongoing intensified agitations launched by YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on special status,   Chandrababu floated the idea of creation of JFC and executed it through his 'stooge' Pawan Kalyan.

The TDP Chief wanted to divert the AP people’s attention from the TDP - BJP war and YS Jagan's fight by roping in Pawan actively through the JFC

Chandrababu Scared Of Modi

YSR Congress Party senior leader and Spokesperson K Parthasarathi alleged  that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was scared of Prime Minister  Narendra Modi.  He said that Chandrababu  was maintaining silence on the central budget in which Andhra got a raw deal.
The YSR Congress leader said Chandrababu has no guts to speak against Modi government. He demanded Chandrababu to make it clear against whom he will fight on  AP demands.

The CM  did not mount any pressure on the centre for the last four years towards fulfilling the demands.  Chandrababu mortgaged AP interests before the centre, Parthasarathi said.

Roja dares Chandrababu to move No Trust Motion

YSR Congress Party senior leader and MLA RK Roja fired a salvo at Chandrababu Naidu for his failure in mounting pressure on Centre on special status to Andhra Pradesh.

She said her party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy already announced his readiness to move no confidence motion againt the BJP led NDA for cheating the Andhra people. She dared  Chandrababu to follow YS Jagan's suit and move the motion in the Parliament and prove his guts.

Roja alleged that the CM was in deep slumber and  neglected  the aspirations of people since TDP came to power.  People will teach a befitting lesson to the TDP Chief in the next elections. YSR Congress is ready to join hands with every party which come forward on the demand for special status

He was attending a meeting with the community members as part of Praja Sankalpa Yatra and addressed them.

YS Jagan said he was happy to be attending this meeting and expressed his solidarity with them and agreed that their businesses were majorly hit due to GST. He went to say that poverty is not bound by any caste or religion.

The opposition leader promised that YSRCP will establish Arya Vysya Corporation after it comes into power. November 1 would be declared state Formation Day in memory of the legendary freedom fighter, Potti Sriramulu, he announced.

Rajanna Canteens likely..

YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that Arya Vysyas have contributed a lot for the development of the State and Potti Sriramulu was instrumental in getting a separate state of Andhra Pradesh from the Composite Madras state.

Addressing a meeting of Arya Vysya community here as part of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Sunday, the Leader of Opposition said, ‘it is due to the sacrifices of Potti Sriramulu that we could get a separate identity of our own and we have to respect his martyrdom.

In the days to come, efforts would be made to start Rajanna Canteens on the lines of Amma Canteens in Tamil Nadu and he condemned the harassment of the trading community in the name of GST and other trade related procedures.

The educational institutions and temples being run by the Arya Vysya community should be allowed to be run by their own societies without any interference he said adding that poor students among the Arya Vysyas should also get the benefits of the welfare schemes.

Economic backwardness can be there in any community and all those in need must be able to get the benefits.

The levels of political awareness have been high among Arya Vysyas and their contribution to the state building cannot be ignored, he said.

As announced during the Nandayl by-poll a Corporation would be set up for Arya Vysyas and choultries that are being closed down would be revived, he said.

‘it is not fair to belittle the Arya Vysaya community as they have a good contribution to the nation building from Mahatma Gandhi to Potti Sriramulu,’ he said.
