TDP budget bogus

Hyderabad, March 11: Terming as bogus, the 2016-17 State Budget which is on the lines of Vijaya Mallya’s line of deceptive declarations, YSR Congress has said that Chief Minister and Finance Minister have deceived the people with unrealistic figures and leaving aside all the welfare schemes and the best practices of transparency.  

‘It is a very deceptive method that the State has adopted by not giving the revised audited estimates of the previous two budgets (2014-15 and 2015-16) but had just given a list of figures against the set norms like what Vijaya Mallya had done to the banks before fleeing the country,’ party MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy told reporters here on Capital and Revenue Receipts did not change from the previous two years and was shown as the same which raises many doubts and as the revised estimates of 2014-15 and the eleven month period of 2015-16 were not placed and were shown as same or were hidden. This makes the budget faulty and deceptive, he said adding that Chandrababu Naidu owes an apology to the people on this count. 

Though this is the third budget after coming to power the promises made in the manifesto were not taken into account and no mention was found in thebudget. The loan waiver of farmers, DWACRA women finds no mention and there is no clarity on how the farm loans which swelled from 87, 612 crores 

There were many other promises like old age homes, Anna Canteens, nine hour power supply to agriculture during day time, setting up of Market Stabilisation Fund with Rs 5,000 crores, assuring MSP, allocation of funds to BCs, setting up of agro-based industries, regularization of jobs, tablets to students, 20 litres of water, free education from KG to PG, but none of these promises reflected in the budget allocation.

As the Kapus were on the warpath, the government has allocation Rs 1,000 crores instead of Rs 3,000 crores for the three years. Many other assurances like bullet trains, land to tribals did not find any place in the budget, he added.

YS Jagan condemns the Government

Hyderabad: YSRCP president and leader of opposition YS Jagan slammed the Government for its failure in providing employment to the unemployed. He expressed his objection to minister Achennayudu’s careless response to the questions put by members of YSRCP.

YS Jagan reminded that the TDP had gone from house to house before elections distributing pamphlets of manifesto signed by Chandrababu Naidu that promised a job for every household or Rs.2000 stipend for the unemployed. He stated that jobs had been promised irrespective of educational qualification. Now 1 crore 75 lakh households were awaiting employment or stipend, explained YS Jagan.

Now the Government had conducted DSC but had not released the merit list since 18 months now. So the candidates were left in confusion. The Government itself had calculated at the time of bifurcation that there were 1,42,828 vacancies in the state. But now there was no recruitment calendar and no clue when DSC vacancies would be filled. In addition to not giving jobs, the Government had been minimizing the number of schools and colleges using cluster system, mentioned YS Jagan. Thus the calculation included 7000 extra jobs. He also stated that the ruling party had talked about reorganizing outsourcing and contract jobs but now went on to remove them. He added that 2 lakhs of employees were working with insecure feeling.

 YS Jagan complained that Arogyamitra and Gopalamitra employees had lost their support due to the Government’s deeds. He criticized not increasing the salaries of VRA and ASHA workers and getting them arrested for asking for a raise in their salaries. Adarsha farmers had been fired. YSRCP members, led by party president YS Jagan, walked out protesting against the merciless acts of the Government and deception towards 75 lakh households by neglecting to fulfill the promises of jobs and unemployment stipend.

Hyderabad: YSRCP president and leader of opposition expressed his unhappiness for CM Chandrababu’s insincere behaviour pertaining to the capital city.  He spoke in the assembly during the discussion about thanking Governor’s speech. Here is what he spoke…

“I do not understand why Chandrababu goes to Delhi. Is he going as part of his attempts to come out of the ‘Note for Vote’ case in which he was caught with proofs? Whenever he goes to Delhi, we wait for him to come back with compensation. He rejects the 20,000 acres of D-grade forest land in Vinukonda of Guntur district. He is interested in land pooling for the benefit of his binamis. He does not utilize the sources offered by the centre. Whenever he visits countries like Singapore and China, he says that he will make the state like that country. It has been 2 years now, but not a brick has been laid yet. He puts forward some photos and shows buildings in it. We have been waiting for two years now.

At the time of bifurcation, special railway zone for Visakhapatnam and a plant for Kadapa were promised with Parliament as witness. Neither the railway zone nor the petrochemical complex took shape till now. Steel factory is out of discussion. Chandrababu keeps bluffing. Why is Babu not demanding the centre for any of these? After two years of waiting, I choose to question why he has no commitment regarding any of these issues.

Why did Babu not give ultimatum to the centre? Why is he not threatening to withdraw the central ministers? Babu’s behaviour is really saddening. There is no pinch of sincerity in it. He is drawing different pictures here and at the centre”, exclaimed YS Jagan.

At this, point, the state Government pushed minister Achennayudu forward to exhibit irrelevant abuse as it had no proper answer to give.

 Assembly: YSRCP president and leader of opposition in AP YS Jagan commented that CM Chandrababu did not deserve to talk about women. He criticized Babu for quoting a proverb that a mother-in-law would not object if her daughter-in-law wanted to give birth to a male child. YS Jagan opined that it was hilarious for a person using this sort of proverbs to talk about gender equality. He condemned Chandrababu for engaging his leaders to abuse YSRCP members for their raising objection to the Government’s misdeeds.

 YS Jagan mentioned that it was too much to say that he was involved in conspiring to defame minister Ravela Kishore Babu when his son had clearly misbehaved with a woman and got beaten up by the public. YS Jagan strongly condemned Chandrababu for letting Ravela continue as a minister. He mentioned that a member of this very legislative house had spoken in a programme about women in a degraded manner and that national media also was talking about it. YS Jagan suggested that the ruling party leaders and ministers had to check themselves before speaking to their will in front of the microphones. Only then would the system be fixed, stated the opposition leader. He particularly suggested that Chandrababu had to repair his mindset.

YS Jagan commented that ASHA workers lost their jobs once Chandrababu came to power. Anganwadi workers suffered loss of jobs for requesting raised pay. He promised to pay Rs.1383 crore of interest on behalf of dwakra women. But they had actually enjoyed loans without interest before Chandrababu had come to power, specified YS Jagan. He recollected that late Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy had sanctioned loans to dwakra women with 0.25% rate of interest and totally waived it off later while Chandrababu now sanctioned the loans at 12-14% rate of interest.

YS Jagan slammed Babu for totally ignoring the promise he had made to dwakra women about waiver of Rs.14200 crore. He criticized Babu’s announcing sanction of only Rs.3000 and that too as loan for investment. He mentioned that Chandrababu deceived them by asking them before elections not to pay interest. YS Jagan opined that Chandrababu was responsible for the dwakra women paying 2% interest to banks.

 SERP (Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty) had stated that only 12.42% of the dwakra groups were graded ‘A’ and 52.31% were in grade ‘D’. Jagan suggested Babu to check the status of the dwakra women in his SERP website.

 YS Jagan commented Chandrababu’s mentioning special cabs for the security of women. The centre had tightened security measures as the multinational companies brought special cabs. It installed GPS in every cab and passed regulations to all the companies. Telangana also had implemented ‘she cabs’ in GMR airport. So the system mentioned by Chandrababu was already in use. So why was he boasted as if this idea was his brainchild, questioned leader of opposition YS Jagan.

TDP faces ‘Son’ stroke

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party leaders are facing ‘son’ stroke even before the summer has begun. Contexts of leaders’ sons exposing their shady characters are increasing day by day. As the respective fathers are defending their sons, Chandrababu is offering them warranty of safety. So the felonies are accelerating.

Goony behaviour in the capital area

Vijayawada’s TDP MLA Bonda Uma is already notorious for using abusive language against opposition party MLAs in the assembly. He has stood as support for various illegal activities like ‘Call Money sex racket in Vijayawada. His son Ravi Teja rallied in the city with heavy vehicles on his birthday. Driving in wrong route and exhibiting goon behaviour, he lived up to the name earned by his father. His issue was simply overlooked by the police. His other son Siddharth drove his vehicle recklessly. When he bluffed that a dog came in front of his vehicle, the police believed him and left him loose.

Minister Ravela Kishore Babu’s son Ravela Susheel was caught eve teasing a teacher in broad daylight at Banjara Hills of Hyderabad by grabbing her hand. People nearby held him, beat him up and handed him over to the police. Ravela Susheel managed to find his route out of the police station. Later he chose to narrate a dog’s story too. He stated that he saw a dog in front of his car, so he got down and a woman started shouting at him unnecessarily. His father Ravela Kishore Babu certified that his son was very good at heart and remarked that this accusation was only a result of conspiracy by opposition party leader YS Jagan.

Anam’s son follows

Ex. Minister and TDP leader Anam Ramanarayana Reddy’s son has a controversy that saw light lately. Anam Subhankar Reddy, who visited Srikalahasthi temple with his friends, entered into a verbal war with the endowments officials of the temple. He severely threatened woman EO Bhramaramba that he would get her transferred to a different place using Chandrababu’s influence. He did not listen to the staff who tried to explain that he could not be given any special respect without any protocol eligibility.

 Ultimately, sons of TDP leaders are giving hard time to their fathers as well as the party president and CM, as they end up defending the actions of their children. Seeing how the misdeeds of the leaders’ sons are being defended by the dads, it can be understood how nice TDP’s ways are.

Happy Womens Day

Today is International Women's Day. Late leader Dr.YSR always wished for the well-being and development of women. Primarily YSR gave important portfolios to women, encouraged woman industrialists and sanctioned loans to dwakra ladies only for 25% interest. He introduced woman-friendly schemes only after discussing with them. Women payed him back with affection calling him "Rajannaa".

TDP owes apology to women

Hyderabad, March 7: YSR Congress has demanded an apology from Chandrababu Naidu and Nandamuri Balakrishna and the removal of ministers from the cabinet for their anti-women words and deeds ever since TDP has come to power.

‘While the top leadership itself has been pursuing anti-woman policies it percolates down the line resulting in the harassment of women at various levels and such government should apologise to the women community,’ Party MLA RK Roja told media on the eve of the International Women’s Day here on Monday.

Chandrababu Naidu himself passes a remark discriminating girl child and Balakrishna’s nasty words against women during a public function clubbed with the Nara Lokesh Babu’s explicit pictures of his pleasure trips abroad have charged up TDP members who went beyond limits.

The ministers who have passed harsh comments against women should be dropped from the cabinet immediately failing which TDP has no right to celebrate the International Women’s Day.

Minister Ravela Kishore Babu’s son has misbehaved with a minority woman and the minister going all out to defend his kin and shifting the blame on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is ridiculous. The minister should be sacked immediately along with Municipal Administration Minister Narayana  as there were 18 suicides in the chain of institutions he runs.

MRO Vanajakshi was beaten up by Government Whip Ch Prabhakar in the full glare of public and Chandrababu Naidu had blamed the officer and shielded his party leader which has sent a dangerous signal that even women officials will not be spared if they go against their wishes.

Chandrababu Naidu had gone to the extent of warning the woman officer that she had gone beyond her boundary limits.

‘This arrogance has instilled confidence among the TDP leaders and their anti-women attitude. From the suicide of Ritikeswari in Acharya Nagarjuna University to the recent setting ablaze of Indumati at Eluru by a jilted lover, women were getting a raw deal in the TDP government and we demand that the ministers, including Bonda Uma, Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, P Narayana, Revela Kishore Babu and Chintamaneni Prabhakar should be sacked,’ she said adding that an apology by the Chief Minister should precede the his presence at the International Women’s Day function.
