Hyderabad: Slaughtering democracy with corrupt money and displaying authoritarian rule, Chandrababu brazenly bought the MLAs of opposition party, exclaimed YSRCP president and leader of opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy. He expressed disapproval towards Babu for spending Rs.20 crore to Rs.30 crore on each MLA for decoying them shamelessly. Under the leadership of YS Jagan, YSRCP MLAs and MLCs held a march to the assembly, protesting against Chandrababu’s anti-public and anti-democratic deeds. In the wake of this, YS Jagan revealed to the media the intention behind their march.

YS Jagan recollected how Chandrababu deceptively brought many names like Nuzivid and Nagarjuna University area into picture pertaining to the anticipation of the announcement of the new capital. Meanwhile his binamis and friends bought lands from innocent farmers, making them believe that the Government would pay no compensation for their lands if it started acquisition.  Then Babu calmly announced Amaravathi as the capital. This encouraged YSRCP leaders to protest, stated YS Jagan. He added that Chandrababu and his team did not even spare dalits from their deception and land robbery.

YS Jagan declared that the zoning system was introduced only to benefit the binamis. They planned it in such a way that the lands of the binamis of the ruling party leaders cost more money and the others’ lands cost less. This is why they chose to hold the protest, stated YS Jagan. He also mentioned that Chandrababu’s lies and deception to the state’s people were also cause to their protest march.

Faith of 32 lakh depositors forfeited

Lokesh to own ‘Agrigold’ lands of value Rs.425 crore

 ‘Haailand’ is a good example to show that the ruling party leaders left no chance in robbing the lands with the mask of capital city construction. Agrigold company developed 85.13 acres of land by Kolkata-Chennai highway at Chinakakani of Mangalagiri mandal into ‘Haailand’ resort. Certain leaders in the ruling party had their eye on this property that value of which is Rs.4-4.5 crore per acre. In order to get their hands on it, they skipped it from capital city’s land acquisition programme. A closely related police official was brought into picture. He carried a proposal to the owner of Agrigold that the cases on him would be dismissed if he gave away these lands. This seemed to be a relief to the owners of Agrigold, who were already drowning in legal cases. To escape from the cases, benefit 32 lakhs of depositors was mortgaged.

Since TDP came into power 21 months ago, no arrest was made regarding Agrigold case. As a result, Lokesh could pocket the property of value Rs.425 crore. Police’s opinion is that Government’s pressure is the main reason behind the slow pace of CID inquiry in spite of the High Court’s orders. TDP leaders themselves are quoting this as an example for ‘Quid Pro Quo’.

 High Court’s orders ignored

Agrigold collected deposits of value Rs.6850 crore from 32 lakh people of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra states and bought huge number of lands with that money. Not paying amount to the depositors long after the deadline was over raised the curtain for controversy. Hence, depositors and agents of all these states including Andhra Pradesh started to protest in November of 2014. In August 2015, victims filed a Public Interest Litigation to the High Court appealing for CBI investigation into this issue. Concerned about the possibility of CBI inquiry, the famous TDP leader involved in this passed orders making sure that it was carried out by the officials loyal to him. Thus all the sales and purchases of the 16000 acres of Agrigold properties came to halt.

Owing to the snail-paced CID inquiry, joint High Court intervened in August 2015 and ordered the investigation agency for the submission of details regarding Agrigold’s properties, directors and partners of Agrigold and its related organizations and their properties. At one particular occasion, joint High Court declared that the inquiry was not at all satisfactory and that the officer had to be changed failing which they would personally issue instructions regarding this. It also warned the Agrigold authorities that attempts to sell the properties without permission would be considered severely.

A fortnight ago, due to High Court’s fury, finally Agrigold’s owners were arrested. But ignoring the case’s investigation attempts are being made to protect them. TDP leaders are themselves astonished seeing that 32 lakh depositors’ benefits are being pawned for Haailand of worth Rs.200 crore. It is surprising how agriculture minister Prathipati Pullarao could buy 14 acres of Agrigild lands for meagre cost in spite of the court’s orders to freeze all such transactions.

Chandrababu’s corruption tsunami

 More and more land scams of TDP are seeing the light of day as time goes. The ingestion of lands by Lokesh, ministers and MLAs with binami names under the mask of capital city construction is uncovered. International level robbery performed by Chandrababu & co. who promised construction of international level capital city on poor farmers and dalits is astonishing the people of the state.

 Chandrababu raised curtain for a huge tsunami of corruption by planting a binami for every bit of the lands in the robbery of 25000 acres. The perfect burglary performed by Lokesh, ministers Narayana, Prathipati Pullarao, Ravela Kishore Babu, Sujana Chowdary, Dhulipalla Narendra, Payyavula Keshav, Kodela Sivarama Krishna, the son of the speaker, Murali Mohan and some others has been disclosed with proofs. What has now been exposed is only part of the unimaginably huge robbery yet to be revealed.

 Thousands of farmers in the capital area fell victim to the cruel game played by the yellow leaders under the mask of power. The leaders successfully stole the assigned lands and wastelands from the farmers and the dalits of the capital area. By leaking information about the new capital in advance and by devising savage tricks, they managed to deceive the farmers. They purchased thousands of acres of expensive lands at meagre costs. They rose to riches by registering the farmers’ lands to binami names and paying them extremely low prices.

 Chandrababu & co. implemented their well-planned trick of creating havoc regarding the location of the new capital and scaring the farmers by spreading rumours that the Government would pay no compensation for the acquired lands. Thus the yellow vultures succeeded in forcing the farmers to sell their lands for scanty prices. The ‘Binami’ drama played by the ministers and the MLAs in the direction of CM Chandrababu shocked everybody.

Quid Pro Quo with Lingamaneni

CM Chandrababu, who acquired wetlands of great commercial value from farmers for the sake of the new capital, managed to exempt his allies from it. The capital’s boundaries spread till exactly where Babu’s allies’ lands started. Proof to this is the 10 meter-distance between Lingamaneni estate’s boundary and the capital’s boundary. It is a public secret that Chandrababu and his family got Lingamaneni guest house and share of Lingamaneni estates in exchange of this favour. What else can exemplify Quid Pro Quo better than this?

Babu’s relationship with Lingamaneni

Lingamaneni Ramesh, the director of Lingamaneni Estates Pvt. Ltd. is a close friend of CM Chandrababu. It is rumoured that Ramesh arranged for the private jet in which Chandrababu’s family flew abroad after the announcement of results for general elections. He bought 632 acres of land at Kanteru village of Tadikonda mandal and Kaza village of Mangalagiri mandal in Guntur district, in the name of his family members and various companies of Lingamaneni group till June 2014. CM Chandrababu and central urban development minister Venkaiah Naidu had been announcing that the state capital would be set up on Guntur-Vijayawada highway. Hence, a concerned Lingamaneni Ramesh started to put pressure on Babu.

4000 crores’ profit for Lingamaneni

Once the agreement with Lingamaneni was finalized, Babu gave clarity on the state capital. Adjoining the lands he already had bought, Lingamaneni purchased land of more than 168 acres between the 8th of June 2014 and the 4th of September 2014 at a cost price of Rs. 10 lakhs to Rs. 40 lakhs per acre. He arranged boundary to the estate in Kaza and Kanteru areas and fixed CC cameras and other security measures like checkposts. Following prior agreement, Chandrababu’s family was secretly given share in this estate. In exchange, Babu made sure not one acre of this estate was included in the capital city’s area by decided Nidamarru village as the capital’s boundary.

With the fixing of capital’s boundary just 10 meters away from Lingamaneni estate’s boundary, the value of the estate multiplied by many times. Now each acre’s value is around Rs.5 crores. Hence only Lingamaneni estate profited Rs.4000 crores from Babu’s capital city plan.

This is Quid Pro Quo

Government has helped the sale of more than 700 flats and villas in IJM Apartments constructed by Lingamaneni group around Kaza village of Mangalagiri mandal at huge price. After the sale of all the flats, The Government calmly announced announced that the capital would be set up in Tullur. In exchange to this, Babu’s family was given share of the property. Apart from this, Babu was also gifted the Lingamaneni guest house that was illegally built beside Karakatta on the river belt of Krishna. To remodel this guest house, arrange security features and highways around it, Chandrababu extravagantly spent more than 100 crores of rupees of taxpayers’ money. But this was called as ‘CM’s unofficial guesthouse’ till the 25th of December. R&B department’s Chief Engineer expressed objection to the proposal for arrangement of electric equipment of Rs.2.27 crores’ value in this house. So it had to be announced as ‘CM’s temporary official guesthouse’ on the 25th of December. This makes it clear that the building was given to Babu as a gift by Lingamaneni. This is the correct example of Quid Pro Quo, as opined by people in TDP themselves.

Amaravathi: Nara Lokesh, the son of CM Chandrababu Naidu holds pivotal role in the capital city lands scam. He procured huge number of lands under the name of his binami Vemuru Ravi Kumar Prasad. He got the lands registered after the announcement of capital city under different agreements with different names for every acre and 2 acres. Purchase of 500 acres with binami names

Nara Lokesh’s binami Vemuru Ravi Kumar raised the curtain for acquisition of wide area of lands in Amaravathi mandal very close to the core capital area even before the announcement of the state’s capital on the 4th of September. Lands in 59/A2/1, 59/A2/2A, 59/A2/2B1, 59/A2/3A, 59/A/2, 59/B, 61/A1 at Dharanikota of Amaravathi mandal and 502.31 acres in 25 survey numbers at Vaikuntapuram were bought under the names of Dr. Vemuru Ravi Kumar Prasad, his wife Anuradha, Goshpadi Greenfields Pvt. Ltd., Future Space India Pvt. Ltd., Net India Pvt. Ltd. and other organizations.

A price of only a minimum of Rs. 5 lakhs and a maximum of Rs. 9 lakhs per acre was paid in the transaction. The farmers were not paid advance money properly either. On the 5th of August 2015, they paid the rest of the money and got the lands registered. 

Procedure that made the black money white

Lokesh palyed his cards efficiently with the help of his binamis in changing the black money to white using power. In Vaikuntapuram and Dharanikota areas of Amaravathi mandal, the Government’s market value per an acre is from Rs. 7 lakhs to Rs. 12 lakhs. But in the documents, it was showed that the value at which Dr. Vemuru Ravi Kumar Prasad, his wife Anuradha, Goshpadi Greenfields Pvt. Ltd., Future Space India Pvt. Ltd. and Net India Pvt. Ltd. bought the lands was Rs. 71,20,108 per acre. It proves that the market value was multiplied 10 times for their registration. Thus the black money was made white.

Budget reflects TDP’s inefficiency

Hyderabad, March 1: The inefficiency and helplessness of Chandrababu Naidu has reflected in the Union Budget 2016 which has given the state a raw deal and failed to announce any special packages to the fledgling state despite the tall claims earlier.

‘We had very high hopes on the Union budget and the 23 Delhi trips of TDP leaders to Delhi had proved to be a naught with very little coming out and people are very disappointed and angry with the BJP-TDP as they failed to deliver the goods,’ party spokesperson K Parthasarathy told reporters here on Tuesday.

The lack of funds to Polavaram, Capital city and Vijayawada metro had highly depressed the people of the State and the inefficiency of Chandrababu Naidu was visible as he could not persuade the Centre on the issue while they have earlier boasted that Modi-Naidu combination would pave way for development.

No mention of financial sanction to the capital city only shows the standing Chandrababu Naidu and his government has at the Centre and his total failure in mounting pressure for on the Centre. The State Government failure has been so immense that it could not persuade the Centre to include the issues mentioned in the State Reorganisation Act leaving the aspirations of the people high and dry, he said.

When Prime Minister Narender Modi had come for the foundation stone laying ceremony, people had high hopes and the budget had put them in disarray. Polavaram, which was declared a national project did not get the due share nor did the capital city or Vijayawada Metro.

The special status issue was not mentioned nor was there any special package which shows that the State was utterly ignored by the Centre.  

The mutual praise of Chandrababu Naidu and Venkaiah Naidu did not yield any result as their priorities seem to be different, he said.

The tall claims of State leaders about deadlines on various projects have fell flat and the budget has shown that the State has completely failed to mount pressure on the Centre in achieving the basic requirements, he said. 

Budget disappointing: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Feb 29: Describing the 2016 Union Budget as rhetoric, YSR Congress has said it is disappointing for the State as it has no mention of special category status and other assurances given during the division of the state.

‘The Union Budget is highly disappointing for the State as it has no mention of special category status which was the assurance given in the State Reorganisation Act and the State too has failed to persuading its coalition partner on the issue,’ Party leader Rajendernath Reddy told reporters here on Monday.

The other figures presented the Union Finance Minister have been simply rhetoric and failed to impress the core sectors.

‘Though it was time and again mentioned that the focus of the budget is on agriculture and rural development there were no adequate allocations. There was no mention of hike in MSP, input subsidy and increasing the crop insurance to bring in more number of farmers under the insurance cover.

Only 40 % per cent of the farmers now have an insurance cover and nothing was mentioned about roping in more farmers to the safety net,’ he said.

The banking sector is bearing the brunt with increasing NPAs and no concrete plan was announced as to how the government intends to bring down the stressed assets.

In the manufacturing sector as well procedures need to be simplified and many other issues were just passed by as a formality.

‘The budget is disappointing overall, from the State’s point of view,’ he said.
